What a lovely gem of a place this is. Simple and rustic with a very welcoming vibe. We had a party of three, two of whom are gluten free, so we’d relied on previous reviews when making our choice. We’d like to echo the positive feedback. GF pizza was incredible. Thin based and as good as any regular option. Proper wood fired pizza oven. There was also GF pasta as an choice, although we didn’t have it. Another friend had the swordfish, which was moist and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed a delicious bottle of primitivo, as recommended by the host. The service was excellent right from arrival. We felt very looked after. Went twice in 2 days. Great pizza and grilled calamari were perfect. It's much better than the little Italy tourist trap. And just a 5 minute walk away from our hotel (moxy). Amazing owners and amazing staff. Also, it was a nice grappa to end the great meal. Will definitely be going back next time visiting NYC.

Every dish that we ate here was amazing, but the stars of the show were definitely the pizza and the Papardelle con ragout di cinghiale. 10/10. Friendly staff, great service. Definitely recommended.

My husband and I were staying at a hotel nearby and were looking for somewhere to get a drink. On a Sunday night after 9pm the place wasn't too busy. Server was nice and recommended a red wine. Warm atmosphere. Was tempted to get a dessert as the menu looked good.***cash and Amex only*** there is an ATM in the bathroom.
