Lunch at Piccola Cucina Estiatorio, a Sicilian restaurant in SoHo specializing in seafood. We started with the grilled calamari on a bed of guacamole, which was delicious. For mains, we both had a hankering for fried sardines although I think I would have preferred them grilled. The batter was a bit too thick for my taste. They were served on a bed of fennel salad which was very good. Service was excellent. Seating is a bit cramped.
