I rarely leave negative reviews because I truly respect the effort that goes into running a restaurant — but this experience was disappointing. We ordered multiple dishes, but everything came out in a confusing order. The main courses arrived before the appetizers, and nearly all the food was brought to the table at once. For a two-person table, trying to fit four appetizers and two pastas at the same time was just impractical, yet the staff kept insisting on squeezing everything in. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. Just a heads-up — be cautious about the service here.
Very friendly staff. Excellent service and excellent selections. Several interesting specials. Food was superior. Typical NYC restaurant with small tables close together but adequate for our party of 4. Would go back again
Food was great, only drawback was the worker who brought us our appetizer and within 4 minutes told us he needed to take it away for our main dishes? We literally just got it so we said no they should time better...perhaps most people don't get a starter so the timing is lacking

We give this such a high rating for its lunch time specials. For the price, the quality of food, and the efficient and professional service, one can't ask for something better in this section of SOHO.
Small venue but big restaurant! Delicious Italian food, big quantities in each plate and worth each dollar. Pablo and all the team takes care of you.
Food is delicious, only place I go for Italian food. Music gets a bit too loud for me after a certain hour, but if you go early enough it's ok.

The taste is good. The restaurant is extremely small and cramped. The music is so loud that you can't really talk to each other. In classic American fashion, you're asked to pay and leave almost immediately after your meal.

A party of 6 with a reservation, we were seated on time.
We noticed that the mostly younger crowd wasn't drinking. Saw only one other table with a bottle of wine.
Hmm. Might the dearth of wine purchases be due to the (very) expensive prices?

SO SAD AND DISAPPOINTED, my last visit to this restaurant resulted in SEVERE FOOD POISONING INTO THE ER—I experienced nonstop vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration so bad that I had to go to the ER and even passed out. It was the worst pain I’ve ever been in. Doctor said it was food poisoning and i literally didn't have any other meal except for this one that day. Started feeling a bit nauseous right after the meal and started having diarrhea 2 hours after meal, then 5 hours later, I ended up in the ER due to extreme dehydration. It was the worst food poisoning I've ever had, cuz usually it gets better after some rest but this one would not stop. I used to like this place and have been here a few times, but after this experience, I won’t be coming back. WHATS EVEN MORE DISAPPOINTED is that I reached out politely on social media, and they didn’t even respond. I guess once they’ve gotten their tip, customer service is no longer a priority.

We arrived here attracted by the good reviews in specialized media, we agree that Piccola Cucina Estiatorio is very cool, the atmosphere and service are relaxed, cheerful and the food is very tasty, we ordered Fettucine with Junghi sauce and the Fish of the day, in my case the Sole, the Italian food from pasta to proteins is worth trying, the average price was U$65.00.

Try to avoid placing customers right by the door on super cold days (-12 Celsius) who booked celebrating an occasion. Every time the door opened from customers entering or leaving the strong winds came rushing in. Did ask to switch seats but the vibes were already ruined.
