As usual we ate very well. Erica is always very kind. We like this place and when we come back to NY we always go there at least once
L'accueil est excellent La nourriture de très bonne qualité abondante, peut-être même trop pour un européen Et surtout la Responsable ou la patronne qui est de Sicile, anime le tout Je recommande chaudement
The best lasagna I've had in a long time. Great staff very attentive. Would recommend to anyone.
Was recommended and looked like a lovely small Italian eatery. Actually has many tables in the rear dining and upstairs areas. They killed the ambiance by seating us in a dark corner even though the restaurant was almost empty. Then failed to pace the playing properly and we ended up with the bread, appetizers, and salads arriving at the same time. The Caesar salad was almost good but not quite. All the dressing, cheese, was poured on the core of the Romain wedges while the leafy end of the lettuce was left dry. The branzino was only average and had several bones in the filet. The spinach was over-cooked. The tiramisu (prepared table-side) could use time to set and soak. Overall, it felt rushed and a few clicks off of excellent, which is what we hoped it would be.
Wonderful spot for lunch or dinner. Authentic cuisine. Expertly prepared. Exceptional service. Overall, a terrific experience.
The food and service are always excellent. The host is extraordinarily gracious and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Wild boar ragu too rich and inauthentic with the addition of truffles which overpowered any wild boar flavor. Indifferent/distracted service for our key reason to go (the table side making of the tiramisu).
Simply terrible restaurant and very bad service. We will never come back. I really recommend to avoid this place.
Oily, but I think it’s better than salty.

Pastas here are excellent and in large portions, which make for a heavy lunch. Appetizers are smaller in comparison but focus on unique flavors. Service is attentive and consistent. Place is buzzy during lunchtime.

Arrived at 1pm today a half hour early for rez. Waited 5 min. for hostess. Other staff ignored us, bad sign. Asked for assistance and was told hostess was coming. Restaurant was half empty with loud music. By the time hostess showed, a couple of people were in line behind us. She wanted to seat imminent rezs first and asked us to wait at bar, she would be with us in a few minutes, no problem, but she never showed after she seated others. Finally, my BF asked her to seat us and the only table she offered was along bar passage which we didn't want. She said several tables we asked about instead were reserved... the table option we took by kitchen was loud w music, plates, etc. so we decided to leave. I have NO idea how this place gets good reviews! What a terrible experience! (BTW, food did not look appealing! )

The restaurant is in a great location, close to all the attractions on Fifth Avenue. I advise you to reserve a table in advance, although I believe that the friendly staff would find you a nice free seat in the restaurant despite not having a reservation.
The ambiance is just as if you entered Italy.
The food is great, and the prices are okay for New York. A two-course lunch for two people, plus a drink, cost us about $120.
The portions are large, but the staff offers to pack leftovers for you to take home.
The bathrooms are neat.
At the time when we were having lunch, the table next to us had a birthday boy, so the song "happy birthday" was playing over the loudspeaker throughout the restaurant and the waiters gathered around the birthday boy's table and sang to him.
Cool! I appreciate the little things.

The pasta rivals that of Rome! Sardines were perfect and huge! Staff was great and hostess (Erika) made our night extra special. Can’t wait to go back!
