Very cute restaurant with happening local NYC vibe. Food was good, not as good in my opioid as reviews portrayed and what we expected. That being said, the service, attentiveness of the checkins by owner and overall vibe merit 4 stars in my book
Fabulous meal and service! Only complaint is the noise level. Too many people having a great time!! Made it a little hard to hear First class experience.
Excellent!! Great Customer Service, Food was amazing and authentic. We had a large party and they were so delightful to work with and great communication. 10/10
I LOVE this gem of a restaurant!!! Everything is perfect because of Erica and her fabulous attentive abd charming waitstaff and of course the delicious food
Piccola cucina is a gem in the heart of New York City. It's the place you go to when you want to spend an evening with friends, or family, or with your significant other. The food is excellent, beautifully elevated, but still able to evoke the essence of Italy and its Mediterranean flavor profile. I love coming here for any special occasion or for no occasion at all, the staff will turn every visit to Piccola Cucina like a once in a lifetime special event. Erica and the staff are attentive, caring and so much fun. Make it a must stop if you are in NYC
The food was well prepared and delicious. The service was a little spotty, but overall ok. The noise level was very high. Hard to hear yourself talk. We were seated in the downstairs level. Apparently, there is also an upstairs too. I would come back again and to see the difference and ask to be seated upstairs. Would recommend in the future.
As usual we ate very well. Erica is always very kind. We like this place and when we come back to NY we always go there at least once
L'accueil est excellent La nourriture de très bonne qualité abondante, peut-être même trop pour un européen Et surtout la Responsable ou la patronne qui est de Sicile, anime le tout Je recommande chaudement
The best lasagna I've had in a long time. Great staff very attentive. Would recommend to anyone.
Was recommended and looked like a lovely small Italian eatery. Actually has many tables in the rear dining and upstairs areas. They killed the ambiance by seating us in a dark corner even though the restaurant was almost empty. Then failed to pace the playing properly and we ended up with the bread, appetizers, and salads arriving at the same time. The Caesar salad was almost good but not quite. All the dressing, cheese, was poured on the core of the Romain wedges while the leafy end of the lettuce was left dry. The branzino was only average and had several bones in the filet. The spinach was over-cooked. The tiramisu (prepared table-side) could use time to set and soak. Overall, it felt rushed and a few clicks off of excellent, which is what we hoped it would be.

Wonderful spot for lunch or dinner. Authentic cuisine. Expertly prepared. Exceptional service. Overall, a terrific experience.
The food and service are always excellent. The host is extraordinarily gracious and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Wild boar ragu too rich and inauthentic with the addition of truffles which overpowered any wild boar flavor. Indifferent/distracted service for our key reason to go (the table side making of the tiramisu).
Simply terrible restaurant and very bad service. We will never come back. I really recommend to avoid this place.
Oily, but I think it’s better than salty.
