Very cute restaurant with happening local NYC vibe. Food was good, not as good in my opioid as reviews portrayed and what we expected. That being said, the service, attentiveness of the checkins by owner and overall vibe merit 4 stars in my book

Piccola cucina is a gem in the heart of New York City. It's the place you go to when you want to spend an evening with friends, or family, or with your significant other. The food is excellent, beautifully elevated, but still able to evoke the essence of Italy and its Mediterranean flavor profile. I love coming here for any special occasion or for no occasion at all, the staff will turn every visit to Piccola Cucina like a once in a lifetime special event. Erica and the staff...

The food was well prepared and delicious. The service was a little spotty, but overall ok. The noise level was very high. Hard to hear yourself talk. We were seated in the downstairs level. Apparently, there is also an upstairs too. I would come back again and to see the difference and ask to be seated upstairs. Would recommend in the future.
