I bought a few eclairs which were clearly a few days old (inedibly stale), annoying when they charge $7+ each. Went back to resolve it and they were closed despite their hours indicating they would be open. Disappointing overall.

Today, I purchased a ham and cheese croissant that was fresh from the oven. To my surprise and disappointment, when I bit into it, I discovered that the center and indeed the rest of the croissant was completely frozen! This made the croissant utterly inedible.

I love French bakeries but left underwhelmed by their baguette. It was soft to the touch, not crispy and had to be baked at home for a little while longer to come out right. Was surprised and will give them a pass from now on.

Just ok. Tried multiple items of pastries and baked goods that looked better than it tasted. Bit disappointing. Croissant tasted buttery but texture was a bit off.

Delicious and decadent goods! The only disappointing thing is the raspberry in the mixed fruit tart was mouldy, and only saw it when I got home since it was taken from the back row, everything else was delicious so a bit let down here. I tried calling to let the tema know and check, but no one replied. Please take a closer look, maybe some longer shelved goods from thanksgiving, hope to try a fresher one next time. Thank you!

Don’t sleep on this bakery. This is by far one of the best croissants I’ve had in the city, texture and flavor are there. I grabbed the one that has ham and cheese and it did not disappoint. We got them fresh out of the oven. I honestly can’t wait to try something else at this quaint little shop. I hope everyone takes the time to give them a try.

Very tasty cookies and croissant. The staff was so kind, when they heard the cookies were for a friends birthday they offered to wrap them in a box with a ribbon.
It's one NYC's best kept secrets! An honest-to-goodness French bakery with superb savory and sweet pastries, Fruit, almond, chocolate delectables, along with baguettes, quiches, and an array of fresh-brewed coffees. Prices are fair; ingredients are fresh and baked to perfection. Very addictive and it is an UWS treasure to be sure.

Cute little bakery. Came to try their croissant. Below average in my humble opinion.

Ham and cheese croissants were delicious! Hidden cute and tiny bakery spot. Need to come earlier to try the other baked goods that were already gone

Desserts were so beautiful, but we didn't try. Asked the staff for a pastry with peanut butter. She stated that they didn't have peanut butter desserts, but the shop around the corner did. Should have ordered something else, since the other shop was not good. We thought the other shop was a sister bakery, but it wasn't, which we found odd that the staff at one bakery would direct us to another. We would've been much better off grabbing a dessert from this bakery and getting tea elsewhere, since Epices only had coffee. Appreciated the staff being accommodating to my request for peanut butter and tea, but she could have had our pastry business.

Adorable little bakery. Standing room only, but a chair or two out front. Incredible key lime pie tart!
