Incredible and inviting, our service was exceptional, thanks to Cymera J, who ensured we had the best experience. We started with cava and beer to introduce ourselves to the menu, and the calamari and jamon empanadas were both fantastic. Next, we engaged in a delightful wine discussion that led us to a great Spanish Finca. For our tapas, we savored the traditional meatballs with potatoes and the braised cauliflower in sauce. Our leisurely dining experience culminated in the delicious marinated chicken with Manchago risotto. After two hours of delightful dinner, we indulged in dessert to go. Can you imagine having a neighborhood bar 1700 miles from home? Well, this is ours.
Staff accommodating as we asked for a change of seats and it was done easily. Staff answered questions about food and drinks. Red sangria delish! Food was good
Music was way too loud, food was cold. The door to the restaurant was open too long and it was very cold inside😥
Great little spot. Dining area is separate from bar so very quaint and quiet. Cozy and the food was good portions for tapas and delicious.
We enjoyed the inventive food and that the meals were able to be shared. The selection of wines was excellent.
Pil Pil was fantastic. The ambiance was nice and energetic. All of the food was excellent and we lived the sangrias. Highly recommend.
First time at Pil Pil. We enjoyed our sangria and tapas very much. The place is very quaint and the staff and customers were all very nice and welcoming.
Loved the playlist. Tapas were delicious. Sparking red sangria just right and the Basque cheesecake :)
Excellent food and service. A very intimate and warm dining experience which exceeded expectations.
The waitstaff was great, and the food was absolutely amazing. The skirt steak could have been a bit more tender, but I have absolutely zero complaints for everything else. The overall vibe of this restaurant was so cool, and located in a great neighborhood. Would absolutely recommend this to any one interested in checking it out.

Great restaurant and enjoyable experience aside from the service. We did not drink at the pace that the restaurant wanted us to, and were asked if we wanted the check. We replied no, and 5 minutes later we were brought the check. I get there is an expectation of how much to order and a business to run on their side; however, the plan was to get another round.
Just moved to NY, live in Upper East, this is going to my new local fav tapas and Happy Hour place.
Loved Pil Pil! Randomly chosen for its proximity to an event we were attending, for its cozy and colorful decor and for its affordable menu. The happy hour was an expected surprise as was the friendly staff and the quality of the food! It's a lively atmosphere without being clawing, festive without cliche and totally worth revisiting!!
Fantastic dinner in a cozy spot with elevated tapas. Fantastic wine by the glass list, too.
An all-time favorite with delicious food and attentive service. It's usually bustling, a hotspot of NYC dating scene.
