I have eaten at another Pio Pio location once before, and it was great. This time, however, left a lot to be desired. I ordered online but I called to ask about the chicken serving sizes. I was placed on hold for a long time and when she finally spoke to me she seems hurried and grouchy. I asked her what size chicken she would suggest for 2 adult men. Whole in the wall with authentic homemade Peruvian cuisine. The Lomo saltado was tender and perfectly seasoned. The fried plantains were sweet and perfectly fried to a carmelized golden brown crust. The Aji sauce was the icing on the cake??. Spicy as it should be, not for amateurs.
