The waiters are not the best qualified. Not rude but it is awkward how they interact. Food is 10/10
GREAT LITTLE FIND ON 55TH ST. SUCH A SWEET RESTAURANT. WE SHARED THE BARNZINO AND FETTUCINI BOLOGNESE - DELICIOUS - GIRLS HAD A PIZZA AND PASTA. EVVERYTHING TASTED GREAT
Outstanding pizza, especially the gluten-free pizza, which was the best I've had and I've had many
Overall, I was disappointed. While the food was “good”, the service and ambiance was not. It is a very small restaurant and very narrow. In fairness to the restaurant, if was a Friday night and there was a family celebration of sorts that was very noisy with a lot of kids. I sort of felt like I was at a Chuck E Cheese's . The food is classic, simple and tasted good. We did order the fried “zucchini “ - it was bland and needed salt / seasoning. The worst was that it was served atop a paper napkin to absorb all the grease - but there was so much that a pool of grease was laying at the bottom of the bowl. Service felt rushed and yet that were not overly attentive to needs. One server appear more aggravated than attentive. The host was not particularly welcoming or friendly - they couldn't even smile. Our water glasses set empty for quite a while and when they replaced silverware the server just reached crossed the table to”toss” the fork and knife where it slid and was left askew. I understand a crowded area but I simple “may I hand these to you” would have sufficed. Perhaps I may try it again but I think due to the location, it is more of a “tourist” restaurant and not someplace I would regularly go to. There are too many other good restaurants in the city.
We all had pizza, but they had some good looking pasta dishes as well. The gluten free pizza was some of the best crust we've eaten.
This was my second time at Pizzatre and it was great both times. Pizza is all about the crust and theirs is just the right amount of chew without being too thick. Pastas are all fresh and perfectly al dente. Service is super friendly and efficient. Upstairs dining room is small but clean and bright. Make a rez since it's usually a wait.
Delicious, fresh and authentic! the Verace pizza was so excellent. Our server was helpful and friendly. We loved it!
Amazing gluten-free pizza, delicious gelati (chocolate, vanilla and pistachio). Very good service, friendly staff. Only minus is the space is a little tight. Otherwise, 5 stars!
Delicious escarole and bean soup and a very satisfying white pizza. I also love that much of the staff is from Italy! PizzArte is a reliable spot for a good dinner when in midtown and an excellent value for the neighborhood.
Our favorite pizza place when we come into town. The food and service are always great. I love the selection of wine by the glass and the temperature- perfect. Diavolo pizza is what we always get, so thin and chewy crust, perfection!

Food at MOMA is so-so. PizzArte is a great escape to excellent food just a quick 5 minute walk away. In 30-45 minutes you will be back in the museum all depends if you get dessert or not.
I wish I could've tried everything on the menu, we had 4 appetizers, all amazing. The pizza tastes like a true Neapolitan one you can find in the streets of via Toledo, definitely coming again soon.
Personale gentilissimo e presente! Pizza buonissima! Ma soprattutto tutte le pizze sono proposte anche senza glutine, e per chi è celiaco è' un posto perfetto.
I had the "PizzArte" pizza - butternut squash, sausage and thyme and it was absolutely amazing! Also had the Carciofi salad - delicious and so fresh! I've eaten at PizzArte many times - all the food is delicious and you can taste the authenticity and freshness of every ingredient.
