Attended the Grand Opening for the New Smyrna Beach Location. It was very festive. The Bowls were delicious!

I’m obsessed! Penn station location was my first store. They got me hooked and now I go all over the city. Lovely and attentive staff and a bright, clean store. It’s in a train station so ambiance isn’t their fault. I’ve dined in and taken out. Sometimes I pre- order and take a bowl on the train.

The young man working at Playa in Penn is an all star! He should be running a training course in customer service!

Oh, please, please charge me a ridiculous price for a smoothie I can't drink through the straw you gave me. A mixture so thick it's physically impossible to ingest.

What a collective delusion people are in to think this place is even remotely good. Is there anything more cringe than calling yourself a Playa? Much less using the term to sell substandard smoothies to unsuspecting customers. Calling the product Playa is such a cheap attempt to glom on to the vapid vernacular of the TikTok kids who have since moved on to the next thing that will soon be considered cheugy.

This Playa Bowls is located in the underground!! You cannot access it from the street level. The bowls are good despite the weird location.

Just stopped there to get something quick before my 11.41 train. I was quite excited to try playa bowls at it was my first time. I ordered the bowl called “mucho mango”
1- the biggest problem was it had a dead fly on the bowl and i just realized that when i was almost done with the bowl
2- the taste was VERY mid. I didn’t like the food at all but that’s not the reason why i give 1 star as u can imagine.

I asked for a refund obviously but they said that they can’t do that. Seriously? Do you think it’s ok for me to pay for a fly-bowl playa bowls???

Refreshing fruit bowls in Penn station. It’s like a smoothie but elevated. If you have time waiting for your train and want something light different it’s Defenitly recommended over the other fast food options. Tons of choices as well!!
