Love Playa Bowls—best açaí bowls hands down!!! They’re hearty and you get a nice size bowl/amount for the price. The options are insane!
My favorite is the power -açaí bowl w/ peanut butter (shown in the picture). My kids love the mucho mango (also in the picture) and the Stupid Cupid (not pictured).
This particular location is a nice size. They have a few tables inside as well as a seating area. There is usually seating outside as well but the entire sidewalk block is under construction at the moment.
I’ve never experienced bad customer service. I’ve dined in, ordered online for pickup, AND I’ve had it delivered before. Always a 10/10!

hi:)) i had the pleasure of being helped by jesus during my recent visit to playa bowls, and let me just say Jesus greeted me with genuine kindness and positive energy that instantly made the place feel more welcoming. He took the time to walk me through the menu, offered helpful suggestions based on what I was craving, and even explained the differences between the base options and toppings. i ended up getting a custom acai bowl based on his recommendation, and it was perfect. everything tasted fresh, balanced, and beautifully made.

This is my 4th time going to this location, never had a problem and always got what I ordered, but I am so disappointed this time. Yesterday I got the NEW tropical fruit smoothie and I added ginger, it was so very delicious and refreshing that I went again today.😩Well this guy seemed to not know what he was doing. It took him a good 15 minutes to make it while his co-worker completed three bowls for people I met waiting and five pickups. (I got the impression he was hoping she would finish to help him) It was the most disgusting-tasting thing, ( more like juice, definitely not a smoothie, and it's 88 degrees outside)😏I'm not sure what he put in it but even the color was off. There were more hairs than flavor either from the Mango or the ginger. 🤷🏾♀️ I will visit again but if he is the only associate I won’t buy. These are not cheap,plus an additional $1.95 for ginger which brought the total to a whopping $14.04. Do better y’all don't pit trainees to make an order until they’ve made one that a supervisor has tested. 💕

This place will discriminate. (Hispanic people, stay away) I was the first one there and it was completely empty. I ordered a smoothie and several people who were not of color were served before me, at a rapid rate. After 9 minutes of watching this I asked for my order and then, the man made my smoothie. It took over 11 minutes. Unbelievable and disheartening to say the least. When I began drinking my smoothie, it had several large chunks at the bottom. I did return it and they were displeased I wanted a refund. The man said “this is yours” pointing at the drink, I asked if he wanted me to take it and he grabbed it rolling his eyes. Insane!
I stopped in this place for a bowl and it was amazing. Very clean , the people who work there were very polite and very professional. I was greeted by I believe her name was cece , she made sure I left there happy. I will definitely stop by again soon .
