Second time in the city and visited here a few times now. The lady behind the bar is so friendly and had good conversation, such a lovely person! I’ll have a Chardonnay tonight (she’ll know who I am lol!), wishing I was back here!

Il give 2 stars because they show UFC events and the atmosphere is good overall, but whoever that short, Latin, bald-headed bartender is needs to go. Super rude. I asked for a Mohijto and he just says “NO”. Like dude, so many different ways you could have responded to that lol.

We stopped at Playwrights Tavern and absolutely loved our experience. The food was so good — like “we were talking about it hours later” good — and the drinks were just as amazing. The vibe and ambiance were really cute and cozy, the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. Service was great too — friendly, attentive, and just overall enjoyable energy. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a laid-back spot with great food and drinks!

Me and and fiancé came to this small pub around 1am for one last drink before our trip home. This bald headed dude spanish looking (looks like hes on steroids) wont miss him!! Felt extremely discriminated by him. I wouldn’t recommend this bar to my worst enemy thats how bad of an experience we’ve had tonight. Very unprofessional, atmosphere is unwelcoming don’t recommend!!!! And just an idea of how much 2 vodka and Red Bull is $73 bucks!! I rarely put a review but i felt so bad I don’t want no one to go thru the same thing
