Hello We spent New Year’s Eve at the Playwrigth Tavern. Everything was going very well, until we came back from the count on Times Square. The bottle of champagne that was awarded to us by the package paid for the evening had disappeared as we wanted to drink it after the ball came down to toast the new year. The boss justified by saying that after midnight drinks were paid. I find it shameful that you are being deprived of something that has been paid for. To me, it is simply theft. That’s not a nice thing to do. You’re warned if you’re going to spend next New Year’s Eve with them.

Very good food and nice atmosphere. Horrendous service and not very friendly would have been 5 stars. They also charged to substitute the cheese on the burger from cheddar to American??

Food was sub par. My wife asked for limes for her water 3 times. Inattentive server who told us we had to leave after we ate. Planned on getting a dessert, but was told they needed our table so leave. Help me put this place out of business.

Food was incredibly overpriced. Microwavable food slapped on a plate is crazy work 😭 just a heads up there’s an automatic 18% gratuity so you’re looking at about 30-40 dollars at least per person.

Did not have food. When I asked for a cocktail he said “not popular but whatever” Not sure what is in the bottles. My boyfriend suddenly became blackout drunk out of no where after drinking my drink that i didn’t feel comfortable with drinking after i mentioned I didn’t think the drink was ‘okay to drink’.
