Excellent food right around the corner from the Majestic Theatre where we saw Gypsy. Nicole Sheridan/Sunset Boulevard is right there too.

Wheelchair accessibility: Small space to navigate with no apparent elevator to the 2nd floor where most of the tables are.
If you’re looking for a fantastic Irish pub experience in New York, The Playwright Celtic Pub is the place to be. We popped in on a Friday night and were immediately welcomed by a lively, energetic atmosphere. The place was buzzing with people enjoying themselves. The food was excellent. I had the bangers and mash, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We also tried the flatbread margarita and a bowl of pasta, both of which were delicious and well-prepared. To top...
The good: atmosphere and service is fast.
The bad: I went for a Guinness thinking this would have proper glass for a Guinness. Unfortunately it is the typical small glass for $13. The bar have weird smell not clean.
The bartender gave himself the tip which I don't agree.
I don't recommend this place, seems like a tourist trap
