Let me begin with, I am NOT a food expertise, and I am not familiar with any other language besides English. And I completely understand working full-time as a server and earning tips to survive in NY.
I was humiliated at this restaurant. I was taking my time to mix my food item when a server takes the food out of my hands and mixes it for me. Is it normal for servers to just stand a millimeter from you and take your plate out of your hands? I was there to have a nice dinner after a long day of work and left uncomfortable.
AND when it came to the bill, I was forced to give a tip; they kept asking for a tip in cash or to take my card and get the tip through there. They repeatedly mentioned how New York has to leave a tip and I told them ‘you leave a tip when the server treats you well. I was not treated well, the food was taken out of my hands’ and they said ‘oh I’m sorry, I should have asked you how was your service.’ If I didn’t say anything, I would have still been harassed for a tip for bad service.
Not ONCE have I ever experienced where a server takes a customers food out of their hands.
Horrible service. Excellent job though to FORCE customers to leave a tip for bad behavior!

Came here the other night for a quick dinner before a comedy show, and I will say the vibe always hits at this place. The pub-feel and music are always great though a tiny bit loud at times. The food is good and we have some reliable favorites - the corn cheese, fried dumplings, BBQ meat - though I would say it's slightly above average. The soju is definitely a draw here - watermelon, melon, and pineapple and these are always great - sometimes maybe a bit too strong. All in all, a good place to pop in for a quick bite but if you're looking for fancy food in K-town or another Korean BBQ experience would obviously go elsewhere.

Horrible food. Don’t wast your time and money
Is it clam soup? It was so tough that I only ate a little bit, but the side dish was actually delicious. I should have eaten something else
The owners changed and it’s just another expensive New York bar with nothing particular to recommend it. Maybe I hit it on a bad day.

Definitely try the watermelon soju, veggie japchae, kimchi pancakes, bbq chicken & spicy cheesy chicken. The place is buzzy & compact. Service is fast. 10% discount if you pay cash.

Literally the worst place, if you’re a tourist they try to manipulate and charge you more claiming it’s nyc fee rules. They tried that with us before realizing we weren’t tourist.

Do not go! The bouncer is on a strange power trip and management has strange rules. This place does not want your business they just want to make it hard to enter. Service was awful and management does not care.
