Food was excellent. Nice choice of sushi and seafood (nice assortment of fish); including seafood towers are variety of shellfish and a few steak choices. Service was outstanding! Great atmosphere and a pretty chic look. A little pricey. Two diners with two drinks apiece, two sushi rolls, two orders of salmon with two sides of mashed potatoes and mixed veggies with one dessert was $300 before tip.
One of many great experiences at Point Seven, the food is amazing, atmosphere is delightful and the service is perfectly attentive. Every attention to detail of the experience is thoughtfully planned from the moment you walk through the door. I will be back and highly recommend!
Could use more veg options, some vegan ones as well. Took 55 minutes to take our food orders so could use more staff. Great ambience and location.
The atmosphere and service was excellent - the wait staff was very available and polite. The food was very good - but the portions were minuscule for the price. I had the tuna appetizer - which was on 4 silver dollar sized crackers and a piece of black bass (which was prepared excellently) they was about a 3 inch by 2 inch rectangle for about $45. My reaction when the meal was over, for about $100 a person, was that I had eaten delicious food but needed to find somewhere to get more lunch. I wouldn't go back unless the portion size increased significantly despite the high quality of the food. At those prices, they could certainly serve a larger portion of fish.
This is an amazing restaurant. From the moment you are greeted by a lovely young woman at the desk until the time you leave. Everything is done very well. Food is excellent, salads at lunch are well prepared —very healthy and delicious —soups also are excellent. I love everything about this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone in Midtown looking for a nice business lunch spot or just to join a friend for a casual lunch.
Good food... a little lite on portions. Great wine list and drinks. Service was good. Expensive!
Service left something to be desired. The restaurant was not crowded at all and we felt neglected. We had to ask for waters to be refilled, soup was served with entrees, and we had to ask for check at the end after two hours. Two hours is fine for a multi-course dinner but we did not have multiple courses. No dessert menus were offered. The seafood bisque was pricey and subpar, definitely do not recommend trying it. Everyone who ordered the halibut enjoyed it and the cocktails were good. Scallop portion was small with only very small bites of cauliflower for the sides. Overall, would not recommend given how many choices there are in NYC. The restaurant was quiet which was nice but it was also fairly empty.
What a pleasant surprise. Ambiance was pleasing, but no more than the attentive service and creative offerings on the menu. Food was tasty and satisfying without being voluminous. Great job to Luke and the team!
Wait staff was so prompt and attentive! Good came out fast and was incredible. We felt so taken care of and would definitely come back!
Our waiter was fantastic and the food was delicious! Will be going back with more team members and clients.

No value no training no hospitality. Server knew minimally about Menu and nothing about world class wine list. Underwhelmed nothing burger. Such potential but no reward. Will not return.
The food was excellent. I have no complaints, the salmon and sea bass dishes were brilliant. When you first enter the restaurant, you will find the bar area very noisy but it is a nice area. The actual dining area is quiet. The way the restaurant is designed actually shuts out the sound from the bar area. A clever design, the same elegant but accessible design but different. Definitely, one of my new Go-to places.
This place treats ingredients with obvious respect. The spot maintains steady quality. The team was friendly and adaptable to our needs. The prices stay reasonable while the food excels. The meals satisfied our expectations, employees were responsive, and we had a pleasant visit.

One of the best experiences my husband and I have had. The food was Michelin star grade. We had fluke sushi, scallops, crab cakes, shrimp fried rice and tuna todtadas. The ambiance was transportive. The design , music and accustics were perfect. The service by somuliar, Mike was impeccable. The only tiny suggestion, the dessert quality doesn't match the food. But it was very good and inventive. We will definitely be back
Terrific food and even better service. This place never lets you down. Right from when you enter the restaurant to when you leave, the service quality and responsiveness only improves. Food is outstanding.
