I was in the Penn Station area today and had a craving for fried chicken. Initially, I was thinking about going to a certain Filipino fried chicken chain, but after checking the ratings, Pollo Camino came out on top. They’ve recently opened a new branch near Penn Station, but I ended up visiting their 8th Ave location instead — a small, single-storefront shop with a simple interior.

First time here and definitely won’t be the last!
The store has a simple and cool vibe, and the cashier was incredibly gentle and cooperative.

I tried the Campero fried chicken and honestly — it’s one of the best fried chickens I’ve ever had, hands down better than KFC!
The chicken breast was juicy, flavorful, and felt really clean.

The fried yuca is a must-try — crispy and satisfying.

The food was so flavorful and delicious. The customer service was A1. Maria the manager made me feel that I was a very valued guest. I am extremely happy with my experience here. This place proves fast food does not have to come with poor quality.
