I did not realize there was a hidden entrance so I went down through the restaurant. They have a lot of great sounding food available. I got their deviled eggs, their great, savory pub burger, and their smores for dessert. Everything was great and I'd like to go back and try their other options.

I got a really smokey drink, to the point where they give you a bottle of smoke to place in it as well. That had a great, deep flavor.

Cool place, cool drink menu like teapot cocktails.
Says speakeasy but it is obvious haha

Such a cute find. The vibes of the place are impeccable: intimate, chic, and just fun. The service was excellent and the drinks were so fun. Our group loved First Thirst, and the theatrics that come with the drink made it even better. This will be one of my recommendations for friends visiting NYC for sure!

Very romantic and accommodating venue locating in a perfect spot. The staff was able to sneak my wife and I in before a later reservations. Drinks were great and wait staff did great for managing so many tables. The atmosphere was very neat and relaxing. Skip the 40 dollar drink bars that paid for article placement and come here. Real deal fun.

Courtney and Valentino were super personable and made and suggested great drinks! The renovated area was clean and so nice. A great after hours spot if you’re in the area

Visited Polly’s earlier today and had a wonderful experience. From the hostess at the door (Irish girl) to the two girls at the bar - Mo and Zoe - it was top notch service. They were all very friendly and knowledgeable!! Got one of the best cocktails I’ve had in years made by Mo and the food was incredible as well. 10/10 overall - will be back again!

We went for a friend's birthday, it was empty, except for a back room private party. They didn't have a item I wasn't to try do I just got the oysters, they were good. Had wine and they gave such a little. I mean the place was empty and it's a birthday, some some love. It was boring and flat and expensive.

I held a team happy hour here and it went perfectly!! KayTee was wonderful to work with and all of our needs were met with exceptional service. We were a group of 16. The vibe is unique and fun. It’s a step above a normal bar in Midtown. Everyone had a great time!

Drinks were great and the food was fine, but nothing amazing. Service was awful. The waitress disappeared for most of our time there. We got more help from others checking on us and it took a long time just to get our check when we wanted to go. It was dead, so it made no sense.
Biggest disappoint was the music. There's a great red, dark, 20s vibe visually, but the music was modern and upbeat and felt odd. Switching to sultry jazz or R&B would be a much better feel.

Polly’s is an absolute gem tucked beneath Tanner Smith’s—a true speakeasy experience that transports you straight into 1920s New York. From the moment you descend the steps and push through the hidden door, you’re in for something special.

The cocktails are top-notch. I couldn’t get enough of the Mezcal Inferno—smoky, fruity, and dangerously easy to drink (I had three!). Every drink we tried was expertly crafted and full of character.

Food-wise, we were equally impressed. The Buffalo spring rolls are a must—crispy, flavorful, and addictive. But the real standout? The flatbreads. Generously loaded with toppings and melty cheese, every bite delivered that perfect cheese pull moment.

Whether you’re looking to make new friends or wow out-of-towners, Polly’s nails the vibe. Cool, intimate, and unforgettable. Can’t wait to go back!

This speakeasy is so cool! A little small but very very amazing. It’s down the side door from the main restaurant upstairs and it’s so delicious. I had the Lambrusco drink and it was sooo good! Other peoples drinks were being lit on fire and food looked so good! Recommend for a good night and lowkey vibes! Sorry no pics on this one! Good Vegetarian options!

We had such a great time at Polly’s because of Liza! She was really attentive and helped us make excellent food and drink decisions without being pushy. Loved the cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended!!!
