I'm starting to grow really fond of Polosud gelato , coffee and pastries. Still a new spot in Old Town New York,NY, but quickly gaining ground! Especially with a heavy hitter across the street (Intelligentsia), I'm happy that Polosud gelato , coffee and pastries is holding its own.

They were so close. So close to five stars. But everything was so SMALL. I like BIG things. BIG things in my mouth. But oh well. All's well that Polosud gelato , coffee and pastries. Anywaaaay.

Fantastic gelato! Had this over a year ago during the summer and even had a friendly chat with the owner who's from Italy. Highly recommend!

Their pistachio gelato is worth the trip to Mott St! Cheaper than a plane ticket to Sicilia. Complementi

Better than a really bad Porn movie with Barbie in it, which is a Pornodud. When I wash all my Polos in soapy suds, sometimes I don't rinse all of the soap off them properly. That's when I end up with Polosuds.I don't love this gelato shop, but I like it, and I especially like the really lovely service which means that despite the high prices and despite me not loving the gelato, I still give it 4 stars. This is because the girls were super cute and super friendly as well. They would have earned five stars if I'd liked the product a little bit more, but having been to Italy many times and also having found wonderful gelato shops in places like Houston and Charlotte, then considering this is New York I wasn't too thrilled. But it's cute and friendly despite being expensive, and it has an interesting selection of products, and if your taste is slightly less discerning than mine, I think it's well worth giving it a try.As for me, I'm sure I'll come back here sooner or lato.

I am so happy that I found this place. They have the best gelato on Earth. Pistachio and lemon are my favorite flavors.

I came here while exploring little Italy with my friend who's family is from Sicily. Although there weren't as many flavors that appealed to me I opted for pistachio (a solid back up and go to as it's a standard gelato flavor). The owner was very friendly and began speaking Sicilian to my friend! Let's be real I couldn't understand any of it (sadly not talented to know more than one language) but I appreciated the authenticity of this place! Cost about $5 for a small --portion size not as generous as some gelato places (which is somewhat expected in the city but I still find expensive and disappointing). As I don't live in the city I think I would want to try another place before returning. Nothing that has me dying to come back for more. *note this visit was prior to quarantine

This spot has the best cannoli in the neighborhood! It is fresh and delicious. Mine even had a hint of orange. The gelato and cappuccino were yummy was well. I’m looking forward to trying their other pastries once things get back to normal and their kitchen is fully staffed.

I came here the day after Valentine's Day and ordered the pistachio gelato and two cannolis. The cannolis were delicious, I wished they were a bit larger, and they had the amazing filling topped with candied orange. I would definitely come back here.

I had the pistachio gelato and my husband had a mixed cup of dark chocolate and mixed berries (vegan). We are two very content customers. Will visit again and recommend to others.

Whenever I'm in downtown, I have to make a pit stop here, I haven't tried many desserts in the city because I would rather come here lol! The gelato is simply phenomenal and it's absolutely worth bringing every guest I've had and watching their faces turn into utter delight when tasting it here.

Did an affogato with pistachio which I know is not the traditional route to take, but it was absolutely incredible. Owner was super friendly and yyou could tell he enjoyed doing his thing. Made for a nice experience.
