2 out of 3 of our dinners were great. One shrimp and one clam dish. The mushroom pappardella was a little tart/sour and goopy. Outdoor seating was enjoyable. Service (woman owner?) was rushed and business-y rather than warm and inviting.

This upper west side Italian restaurant is a real gem. It has friendly owners that are more than willing to guide you through their menu. They restaurant is known for their meatballs but it has so much more to offer. I did start with meatballs with marinara sauce. I was really impressed with the meatballs and the accompanying marinara sauce. It was so flavorful, a great start to the meal. I next had the rigatoni alla vodka which really surprised me. The vodka sauce was as good...

My favorite dishes were the squid ink linguini with calamari, and the tiramisu. That homemade pasta has phenomenal texture!!! And the arrabbiata sauce was perfect. We came at 5:00 pm on a Saturday. Excellent service. The meatballs were good.
