Busy, bustling Saturday night at Pomodoro Rosso. Wait staff was harried and it took a while to order. However, once available, everyone was extremely personable and we enjoyed a beautiful Tuscan wine (our waiter's suggestion), delicious appetizer = bruschetta, a solid carbonara as well as lamb shank entree, and a squash dish that really hit the autumnal vibe. We didn't have dessert but, I'm sure, it would have been sweet. Bravo!

We were a large group and they made us feel like we could take as long as we wanted. We never felt rushed so they could get the tables for other diners. The food was incredible and the portions large enough to make a second meal from the leftovers. I have been going to this restaurant for decades. It is a very special place in a city of restaurants that come and go.

The service was excellent. Attentive and pleasant waiters, I would return simply based on how pleasant they made our experience. The only negative was the spaghetti polpette wasn't that great. Flavor wise the sausage left much to be desired for my taste. Based on price definitely expected more from this dish. However, the linguine frutti di mare did not disappoint. The seafood was fresh and delish, making the leftovers equally delish. Great place!

Thank you for an enjoyable and relaxed dinner. The wait staff was great. We had a spaghetti squash dinner with seafood . We liked the Chardonnay and Topped dinner of with tartuffo ..my favorite dessert!

This is my favorite restaurant on the Upper West Side. Most delicious rigatoni vodka, and my favorite dish on their menu is the tomato soup (which comes in a delicious bread bowl!). Highly recommend!!!!

A friend and I shared the salad of the day that was delicious. Then we also shared the spaghetti squash with chicken and shrimp. They cut it in half in the kitchen. Certainly this was big enough to share. Everything was delicious.
