I was so excited to try Popeyes on our recent trip to NYC.What followed was bitterly disappointing.Me and my wife ordered a 3 chicken tender MEAL each and were charged for a MEAL.Except the Branch had run out of fries (no substitution offered either).We were tired and hungry so decided to cut our losses and just have our chicken and drinks.The chicken was lukewarm.I went to the drinks machine and selected Coca Cola and out came WATER. I then emptied the glass and selected Dr Pepper and out came the water once again. I emptied my glass for a third time and selected Fanta and I'm sure you can guess what happened next.I then told the member of staff who just looked at me and said something to a colleague but no one sorted the problem.So in summary our meals were just lukewarm chicken tenders. No fries or drink despite being charged for that.Utter shambles. Sure this issue is specific to this branch but my first Popeyes Experience was a crushing disappointment!

Customer service was horrible, cashier was rude and gave me rice and beans w no rice just beans when I ordered mashed potatoes. When I did get the mashed potatoes there was no gravy just mashed potatoes. I ordered fries w my meal and got a corner side of the box . My biscuit was hard and not even warm !

The aerobics is terrible the manager rizu and cooks without gloves on and doesn’t cook properly. The whole meal I had was cold the fries and chicken they do not make fresh chicken as they should. The food didn’t stay hot and at all, never again will I come

They are super slow with service even when business is slow. They'd rather talk than attend to the customer. This time i didn't even get my food because i didnt feel like waiting. The other times that I did get my food, both of those times the chicken was tough. Clearly it was sitting under the heat for a long time. Third time is the charm so I will not be returning.

Regarding the food, I really loved it. I tried Popeyes in France a few months ago because they finally opened a restaurant. I already liked it a lot.But I found that Popeyes in New York was even better!The bread, chicken, and bacon were really of better quality, one of the best burgers I ate during my stay in New York, with Five Guys.Only downside… The service (the waitress was not very friendly) and the place which is not very welcoming and does not make you want to stay there for a long time.
