It's 2021 and the owner of this establishment can't stand to see a black person in their business . I came with a friend( that happened to be black) and they did whatever they could to get us out . The bartenders wouldn't serve us and when we asked why they kept giving us the run around . Please support other local business and if you're a person of color stay far away from this place . If you're a fellow New Yorker you should know better than to encourage this type of behavior in our city !!!

I am so shocked and upset by my experience from this establishment! I have never felt so embarrassed in my life! I had a first date here with a beautiful black man from tinder and the way they treated him was just evil! I had not looked at the reviews before now but they have have some serious explaining to do! I mean the staff may as well be wearing white hoods and holding a bloody sacrifice if you are a person of any colour! Utterly disgusting an am so disappointed!

Terrible, waste of money time and energy. You are better off finding food on the floor of the subway. Raciest as well. But other than that food is very mediocre for NY.

very racist. staff is god awful. have a long history with racism. watched them kick out interracial couple telling them they were too drunk but then offering them another cocktail because of the" inconvenience ". makes no sense. the couple only had 2 drinks. wait time is awful. waitresses never check up on ur table therefore almost impossible to order food or another drink. dont recommend coming and paying a lot for mediocre food. mcdonalds is better . save ur money guys

We visited here early in the evening after a long walking tour of NYC. We had a table outside, in the shade with a breeze. Our servers were attentive and paced our meal perfectly. We were a party of 8 and did not feel rushed. Our dinner orders were delivered at the same time and all of our meals were delicious. The prices were reasonable for both food and drinks. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to residents and tourists alike.
Great place with fantastic staff. I wished they had higher ABV beers, but that's not their thing.

Let me tell you, The Porterhouse Brewing Company was truly mind-blowing. Awesome place and the prices are reasonable. Pretty much every item that we have ordered was very fresh and delicious. The team was really courteous and service is fabulous. The Porterhouse Brewing Company - Made me feel special.

3.5 stars (unfortunately Yelp doesn't have that feature). Was here for a few drinks and apps while seated outdoors. They have a fairly large, well-lit patio area. It was a bit disappointing to see that the service was slow. We ordered a couple of Sierra Nevada beers, which tasted like IPAs, and a beer with 11% alcohol (which had a significantly less quantity). We enjoyed the beers and had ordered a side of French fries. We asked for a garlic dip and the server said they don't have one, rather rudely. The fries had a weird chemical-ey taste, perhaps the oil was a bit questionable. Overall, seemed like a decent place to grab a few drinks but I may not be confident about the food.
