Nothing to do with the Greek pastry that I have tasted...

Disappointed by the taste of the pastries which are Greek only in name. Even the appearance is not usual: baklavas and curabies are very small and without volume. From my point of view, Greek pastries adapted to the premises.

I've been to this bakery at least 100+ times. This is the real deal in every way. Now for those people that have never worked in a bakery you cannot fully understand how difficult it is.The food and deserts here are top notch. I will say sometimes the service may seem lacking but I Can assure you it's not personal. They are exhausted from all the hard work that goes into putting out this great product. Please know you will not get better Greek baked goods in NYC!I approve this message.Helen Thorne

I just happened to pop in here to see if they had pistachio baklava, and of course they did, it's called afali! The lady at the register was so gracious and amiable, and the young man who came in later, who clearly belong to this place, open to the door, so that the cool air could come in just for me! The place is clearly a prestigious, family business , well established in the community for decades. Their wonderful!

Everything you want in a Greek bake shop! Small intimate place that oozes authenticity as well as sweet aromas. Total Greek vibes and incredibly delicious baked goods. Finikia, baklava and galatobouriko are outstanding! Mother and Son running the show... Bravo!

One of the best bakeries in Hells Kitchen, hands down! Everything always taste fresh and authentic. And the people who work here seem like family, displaying a genuine Greek hospitality.

Strudels were super tasty and filled with real fruit. Also super cool to see a real family owned and operated business with pictures and the history all over the walls.

Excellent Greek bakery with 100 years experience at the same location. It's just a block and a half away from my apartment, and I've been going there for over 30 of them. Now they have a little window side bar seating and you can have a coffee, too. Enjoy a classic NYC place, you'll never forget it!

A classic, family-run institution in the neighborhood. Everything is good and the family are lovely. Get the finikias or the galaktibouriko.

Poseidon are specialized in greek bakery. I am not very familiar with greek sweets so I tried some that looks friendly to my taste, the baklava, pineapple strudel and galactoburiko or the custard one. I find the baklava very sweet, also the galactoburiko, both literally dipping in sugar syrup, but the cheese in galactoburiko balance it out so I enjoyed it. The cheese and pineapple one is very tasty, not too sweet, anyways, I really like phylo dough so I really enjoyed those. And I love the fact that the shop is a 100 years old!! The shop is tiny but cutely decorated in blue and white, and there's the shop history painted on the wall, very insteresting.

Baklava & Galaktoboureko. GOOD. The Baklava cigar was deceptive looking appearing very small but was power packed with plenty of crushed Walnuts loaded inside. The Galaktoboureko was really GOOD being very sweet without being annoying. I commend the owner LILI FABLE for providing EXCELLENT Customer Service. RECOMMEND.

20231003 - I don't eat baklavaBut I took 2 subways and a bus ride to get to this highly rated store to get some for someone who loved baklava ... and he said these were goodThe proprietor was friendly and had packed it well as I would be taking these away for someone far away

100 years old with the best classics, you can still get good coffee, good cappuccino drinks (no skim mills or non dairy options, not that kind of place!) And great greek sweets. The only reason a place like this still exists is because the bakery owns the building- this is like a time capsule and may it stay preserved for 100 more years. Galatopuriko warmed up and finkla (not sure about the spelling) cookies are what I would recommend if you don't know greek pastries well.
