My favorite place to order lunch from! Their sandwiches are amazing and their chips they offer are better than every other sandwich shop around! The store is under amazing management and their manager Jennifer really brings customer service to a whole new level. Her upbeat attitude and helpful mindset made my experience at this place worth while! My order was over a half an hour late (ordered online) and she called me personally to offer my next meal on the house. I really appreciated her offering that considering I order from this place at least once a week for lunch. It can be frustrating when the agreed upon delivery time is not accurate or if the order is missing items, however Jennifer is completely understanding of the customers frustrations!

Ate at the midtown location a few times a week for years and loved it. I've been here maybe 4 times in the last 2 years and have gotten diarrhea every time. Not sure what this location is doing wrong. Note that I have not been back in close to a year.

My friend and I were working at the India Day Parade and we wanted something close by that would be Uber filling and but not too heavy. This place was a great choice. The vibe was chill and our sandwiches were so good! The bread was toasted but still pretty soft. They have a bunch of toppings to customize your sandwich. It was really good you guys.

I had a craving for a grilled chicken sandwich and thankfully this location is close to work. I didn't want to walk all the way to Lenwich so decided to give this place a shot. Upon entering, there's a few tables to sit down which was cool. Line starts in the back. You order the type of sandwich you want and have a choice of either multigrain or regular bread. Then you get to choose your toppings next. It was a bit challenging to speak over and hear the people making your sandwich because the partition is a bit tall. Got the grilled chicken with cheddar on regular bread. Total was $8.17 after tax. Not a bad price for a sandwich in the area when it's tough to find delis now. It's not an extremely big sandwich but guess it will do for lunch. I was still a bit hungry after so could have definitely ordered another sandwich to share (didn't have breakfast!). The taste? I was pleased and satisfied. Pregnancy cravings are no joke. This place delivered on the grilled chicken I wanted. My bread was nicely toasted. My chicken hot, cheese melted just right and additional toppings blended well in the sandwich. Not sure if they have larger sized bread but would definitely get that if offered next time. Probably my new go-to sandwich shop in the neighborhood.

The running 3.5 star average for pretty much every Potbelly in Manhattan seems dead on. The sandwiches are pretty good, and come in a reasonable portion rather than some of the giant sandwiches you see at other similar places. Minus 1 star for flavor (they're good, not great, with some *cough* the Cuban being downright bland) and minus 1 star for the bizarre customer flow - the line is confusing, and you're talking to someone on the other side of a 6 foot tall chip rack so you can barely hear or see them. I'd save yourself the confusion and order in advance online.

I've pretty much had it with Potbelly. For the past number of years I've been a loyal customer and love the sandwiches. Price is good and the hot peppers are delicious. About a year ago (?) Potbelly introduced a mobile app. I am in that business and a s***** for the mobile app. This was destined to strengthen my ties with Potbelly!!! Today was the ninth time I've given the app a second chance. It's also the last time I'm going to the store. After submitting my order at 11:52AM and being confirmed for a 12:20 pick up I finished off my workout at a nearby Equinox and headed up Park Ave. PERFECT! Walking in at 12:20, they are going to nail this one with almost 30 minutes of lead time... The store was empty. The counter people were all having a great time. Things I love to see. I asked for my order and the cashier called the manager, Dmitri, over to tend to it. I got nervous when he went to the keyboard. When I heard the receipt start printing I knew what was coming. He took the receipt and started to walk away. I stopped him and asked "Has my order been started?" - "No, uhhh, we just got this". WHAT? There was a huge stack of receipts from mobile orders on the floor and no one even working on them. I asked to speak to the manager, which he claimed to be. I asked if he thought this was OK and he said "uhhhh, I don't see the big deal" - Big deal? What's the point of a mobile order if you save no time? I asked for a regional manager and he said to "Check the website". This is the last time I fall for the same crap response. I'm done.

I'd prefer Potbelly over Subway's sandwiches anyday. The only reason Subway's is my go-to sandwich shop is because they have more locations open in the city than there are Potbellys. Though there are more options at Subways, I'd believe there are more quality selections at Potbelly's and best of all, they offer delicious milkshakes here. I settled for the Mediterranean sandwich on my most recent visit here and it came with chicken breast, hummus, artichoke hearts, cucumbers and red peppers. In addition, I added hot peppers, lettuce and tomatoes to my sandwich. Overall, my sandwich was delicious, especially with the multigrain bread. The hummus really stole the show for me in this sandwich. I'd definitely recommend the Mediterranean if you're in search of a light and healthy sandwich. After reading some of the Yelp reviews and having a friend recommend it, I decided to order a milkshake here because there weren't any bad reviews about it. Unfortunately, this location "didn't have any ice cream" when I visited, so my milkshake couldn't be made. I grew suspicious when I saw another employee scooping out ice cream from inside the fridge for another customer who also ordered a milkshake. I've worked in the food service industry before and I could tell that this is just a sign of pure laziness. The employee probably did not want to put in the effort to scoop up some ice cream and make my milkshake. Oh well, I went to the 17th Street location to purchase my milkshake there and it wasn't bad. Overall, Potbelly is a pretty solid sandwich joint and aside from the ice cream situation, I had a pretty decent experience here. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for a delicious sandwich.

Walked in today on 03/07/2018 and ordered a grilled cheese and a loaded potato soup. The soup was amazing but the grilled cheese didn't even have cheese on it! Most of it was just bread. I paid $13.00 for this and couldn't even get an actual grilled cheese, it looks like they put two slices on the bread, not even. Don't ask for grilled cheese! If you do, ask for extra cheese and make sure to check it before you leave.

Really wanted to like this place. The sandwich was ok pretty good till I bit into this nail screw thing. Could've been dangerous so I guess I won't be coming back here

I've always been a Potbelly fan, ever since it was the only lunch spot walkable from my first job in 2005. And this branch does a capable job of turning out the same old favorites (big Wreck on multigrain, lettuce tomato pickles ftw. I'm not boring, you're boring). Unfortunately, it seems like it might be declining a bit in the past few months due to heavy competition locally. The most direct evidence of this is that a bunch of the staff now seems to be working a couple doors down at the new Cava. More generally, the service seems to be much slower than it used to be, despite an apparent decline in the number of customers. The cashiers also refuse to accept the Potbelly app as a method of payment -- I'm not sure what the deal is with that, but I'm sure corporate wouldn't be happy about it. Hopefully they'll turn it around, because the sandwiches are still good, and I really don't want to have to eat salads more often than I already do (ugh, "supergreens").

Potbelly has great sandwich options. I love to go with the grilled chicken and cheddar on the flatbread. The food is always fresh and tastes great. They also have milkshakes which are good.

I came to Potbelly to grab quick lunch since I was on my way to a meeting , the food was good , the line wasn't not too long. I had Turkey Swiss and it was decent size, the person who made the sandwich was really nice and provided good service

Okay so today I was a bad hungry Vegan, and I ended up in the Potbelly Sandwhich Shop. After spending hours freezing at work I was craving something hot, so I ordered a soup. Unsure of what soup I wanted, a really sweet employee behind the counter suggested I order the loaded baked potato soup. It was a guilty pleasure, along with the soup I ordered the Mediterranean sandwhich. So yummy!
