Categorically bad service – read the low reviews and you'll see the same themes over and over.

My party arrived 10 minutes ahead of scheduled and was seated 20 minutes after the reservation time, and that was *only after* I asked why parties showing up after us were being seated first.

While being walked to our seats, we were told that we had 90 minutes to eat. Unclear when that 90 minutes started considering the late seating, but completely tone deaf thing to say before we sat down anyway.

Similar to other reviews, our dishes came out immediately. We were finished with our starters and mains within 25 minutes, and the amount of hovering we were getting was borderline out of control.

I haven't had such a negative experience in a while. Save your money. The food was average by NY standards (i.e., There are many other Thai restaurants to patronize). Spare yourself the secondhand embarrassment over how the poor service cheapens the entire place.

Not too busy for a weekday lunch. Prices and portions are reasonable. Service is quick and cheerful. Decor is bright and uniquely Thai.

Chicken wings - not the best I’ve had but the meat is moist and tender.

Crab fried rice - decent amount of crab meat chunks. Fried rice tastes slightly above average. Not too oily.

Mama more fire - flavors are superb. Has instant noodles in it. Half boiled egg is a great touch.

Thai iced tea - best Thai iced tea in town.

Amazing Thai food, one of the best in NYC, and a standout for authentic Thai food, with fast and friendly service. I've been here like 5 times, and every time it's been consistently great. Only thing missing this time was the mango sticky rice, but only because mangoes are out of season, but the other desserts were all yummy too! Will def come back again!

Well deserved Michelin star!

My partner walked in and we were seated right when I arrived as they only sit full parties. The drunken noodles were the tastiest. A bit sad they were out of the tea slushy. Very aesthetic. I'm guessing due to the high demand, they let you know that you have an 1 hour and 30 minutes time window to enjoy your meal.

We live down the block and it took a while before we made it to this buzzy eatery. We have had take out many times and dined in once when family was in town over the summer. First the dine in experience - the drinks are fabulous, well presented and well made. The service has that stellar Thai friendliness. The only slight turn offs - you can't get a drink at the bar when you have to wait for your complete party and you are timed from the moment you sit down, so you can be kicked out when your time is up. They are quite clear about that. But this is the only way to make a NYC restaurant profitable. At first we were so delighted with the quality of the food, even take out, it really stood out against other Thai restaurants in the neighborhood as significantly better. However, last week we ordered a Pad Se-ew with shrimp for take out and it was remarkably mediocre. Nothing special compared to other Thai restaurants taste-wise. Maybe the kitchen had an off night, or the shine is starting to wear off? Time will tell and I will revise this if experience changes. Possibly still a decent dine in experience with great atmosphere, although timed eating is not my thing, but the food is moving toward middle of the road. Having ordered takeout a few more times I can affirm that the food has become more average. This evening the shrimp is tough and the dish lacks flavor. An odd mishap on arrival when I was told there was no order, then after frantic back and forth with the kitchen it did finally come out.

Got there right at 11:30, place was quickly filled with customers. The server was wonderful! Decided to try the somtum and for mild spicy, surprisingly it was really appealing to my taste buds (I like it flavorful and not bland). The mango salad was good. The Kee Mao was on par.
