I have been hearing about Pranakhon for a while and I have been very excited to try it, finally I had tried it today. First off I was greeted by a very nice host who took me to my table, all great! But here comes our server, I understand it's a popular place and I was told by our host first hand it's an hour a half reservation for party of 2, which was fine and I had no problem with that. I know it's a fast pace service. The server we had, she was very cold and just meh, would have been be nicer to have someone with a little bit warmer personality and actually wanted to engage with the customer. I really wanted to like it so badly with it being a Michelin star restaurant and all but I just couldn't bring myself to like it and I probably won't be back dining at Pranakhon again. I would rater go somewhere less popular with nicer service. As far as food goes, I guess my favorite dish would probably be the papaya salad, it wasn't spicy but there was a nice touch with fried shrimp on the dish. For the steamed whole fish in manao sauce, it was just okay, flavor was a little blah. I have had better from fish cheeks. Stir fried seafood in curry sauce was my least favorite, again I have had better somewhere else. Drinks were good. I was warned by my server that the drink I ordered was strong, like what! Yes of course I love strong drink that's why I ordered it.

The ambiance here is so warm, bright, and inviting! The staff here is very friendly and attentive. The food here is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced too compared to other Thai spots. This place is large enough for small to large groups; great for birthday dinners with a lot of people.

One of the best and most poppin Thai restaurants in the city! This restaurant feels like I stepped into Thailand and was served some of the best Thai eats ever! Pranakhon is also probably one of the only Thai restaurants with good vegetarian options though they are only a few since most are made with fish oil. That being said they did not disappoint with the veg options that we got which were the tofu krapow dish which was so insanely flavorful and the massaman curry which was sweet and coconutty. Both came with rice and bill wasn't too bad either! Will definitely be coming back for Pranakhon!

I ate here back in October '23 so memory is a little hazy but this place was gooood. We were seated upstairs immediately once we checked in with our resy-- loved how spacious the restaurant is and it has a cultural and modern vibe. The waitress gave us some good recommendations. My favorite was the Krapow Moo Sub, which surprised me because it looked like such a simple dish -- but it's so flavorful!! The short rib dish was also great, the beef was so soft and the sauce had delicious hints of coconut. Also side note, I think you have to pay a cancellation fee on Resy if you call you can postpone or cancel for free (last time i checked)

BEST THAI FOOD i’ve had hands down!! Reservations are a must; this is a michelin rated restaurant so it’s super packed. The food was absolutely flavorful and delicious; with so many food options. The hoi ob ( mussels in spicy thai herb broth) was to DIE FOR it was so good. Also ordered the krapow pla which was the branzino fish in sauce and it was delicious i could really taste all the flavors. The red curry was also a great choice too. Overall one of the best experiences i’ve had i would most definitely recommend this spot and i will be coming back.

Service: 4/5 Food: 4/5 Ambiance: casual, good for groups Love the decor, the vibes + the food. Expect it to be busy, so if you're trying for walk-in, go during off-peak hours. I think all the staff is of Thai background, which adds to the authenticity. What I Ordered: Curry Pancakes- favorite dish. not too strong on the curry flavor + it's good with + without the sauce Mee Kati- noodles are sweet, but I wish the mango + bean sprouts had more flavor Tom Yum Soup (Special)- ordered it at medium spice + I could still handle it. filled with a lot of elements Moo Grob Kua Prik Gua- not as good as the other dishes - a little dry

I've been getting a lot of recommendations to try this place and I'm glad I did! It was fairly easy to get a reservation for an early Sunday dinner. All of the workers were so nice and very helpful. The Thai iced tea here is the best Thai iced tea I've ever had! It was so good and I wish I can come just for the drink! The rest of the food was good but felt a little bit expensive. I think the crab fried rice was around $30 and you can get the same thing at Thai diner for a little less.

I loved this Thai restaurant!! I've eaten at many Thai spots before but really enjoyed the artful and unique dishes Pranakhon had - as well as fun and cute drinks. The Khao Yum was like a Thai "bibimbap" and the colors were beautiful. Tasted nutty, fishy (in a good way) and healthy too. We also enjoyed the shrimp Tom Yum soup - tangy and savory with a little kick. My friends have recommended the fish and pad thai so hope to be back soon to try those dishes. Definitely recommend a reservation, but walk-ins accepted. We did walk-in around 7:30pm on a Thursday and waited 30min.

Excellent Thai food. Highly recommend reservations. Loudisb atmosphere, not a good place to have quiet conversations. Recommend - crab fried rice. Short rib massaman curry (could use a bit more curry)

This place has amazing service and a very unique drink menu. The drinks were very delicious, howevee the food was on the tad too spicy side. I love spicy food, but this was a little unexpectedly spicy, still good, just fair warning. In addition to the mains, we ordered the curry pancakes which were okay, I would be curious to try other items. The real highlight was the staff. They were incredibly attenive and even when my table had a bit of an accident that left a broken glass they were gracious and made sure eveyone was okay. I'll be back.

We were able to get a last minute reserveration for 4 ppl at 7 pm on Saturaday but we were seated outside, which wasn't terrible since it was kind of nice out and we were able to close the door. We got 4 entrees to share among 4 people and it was the perfect amount of food. We got the tom yum soup, the pad gong karee, the krapow pla, and kee mao. For drinks we got Thai tea, and thai coffees. The fish and pad gong karee was my favorite. The tom yum soup was too salty for me and a tad too spicy for me, but still delicious regardless.

Hits every visit. Luckily was able to get a waitlist table outside without a wait on a saturday afternoon, but still had great and attentive service. Tom yum and fried branzino were great but the pad pong karee was easily the best dish, its something I would come back to order. Highly recommend a visit.

We liked the food and service here. We had a reservation and it was really crowded. We sat in the back. The place was so loud it was hard to hear what anyone was saying. We let the waiter help us order and he was very friendly and helpful.

Very cute restaurant with high quality food. We arrived during the lunch rush with no reservation and were able to be seated though it was very busy. We each had the lunch special and it turned out to be too much food. We sadly had to leave some of our food behind since we were walking a few more hours. I would return.
