This was a really good Bak Chor Mee - coming from a Singaporean who has made Bak Chor Mee himself given a general lack of it in Europe. 95% technically correct (which is remarkable! Everything from fried fish to the lard), just lacking some sambal.
The white beehoon (vermicelli noodle) will definitely cure your home sickness if you are from Singapore or Malaysia. Portion is substantial, you can taste the “wok hei” (char) and it just felt so good after.
Hokkien Mee is good for me! It's seafood & noodles in a brown gravy laced w/ fish sauce. I found it comforting yet excitingly tasty at the same time. I think the others who wrote overly negative reviews were being very picky, & very wasteful at that!
