I love Pret but I have been noticing that they have started skimping on their food portions. I was at the one near the Freedom Tower and the soup was not full. When I brought it to the cashiers attention, it was rectified. And now again at the one on 3rd between 53rd and 54th, the wrap was not filled completely. The woman at the register basically said that it is weighed pursuant to the portion size. And her attitude did not help. However, literally half of one half was empty so I really have a hard time believing that comment. Plus I always get these wraps and that is the first time it has happened. It wasn't like a portion of it was fuller than another. Basically, either check it before you leave the store and stop going to Pret, especially since Pret is not cheap. They have definitely lost a customer with me.

We had one of the worst drip coffee we had for a long time.The restrooms were very dirty.There were no outlets to charge our phones.

Place to have breakfast or eat something quick.You can eat there or take it away. Although the prices are not reasonable, the coffee and food are delicious.The attention has sometimes not been good. Those who serve are reluctant to accept large bills, which most tourists have.

Rude staff and such a rip off. I will never buy anything from here again. $17 for a bowl of spinach with a few scraps of chicken. The sign says $12 but after charged they said that’s the member discount and got rude when I asked why they displayed the wrong price or how you become a member. They clearly are here to overcharge tourists that don’t know much better options. The food stunk.

Wanted to get out of the cold to have some hot chocolate, which we got, and pastries, but none anymore at 4:30pm. Still some sandwiches, salads and jarred items. The downstairs area has tall tables/counter with high stools so is not for sitting too long; upstairs area was closed.

You pay at least $20-$30 only for a sandwich and drink at this location but even the bathroom is DISGUSTING. Not clean, no soap, no toilet paper, broken items, etc. Also tables and the floor is dirty. Bad management. I’d rather going to other options in the same area.Edit after second try: Upstairs is closed for some reason. And this thing is the strongest thing I’ve tried to chew:At least the bread is definitely not fresh. I paid $20 dollars for the wrap + small pudding. I don’t know why ? The price tags are different than the final prices. They said those prices are for the members after I asked the reason. But they never asked if I’m a member or not. Not only management but workers also need training. Not coming back for sure.

great shop! sometimes hard to find a seat, but there’s an upstairs seating area as well. food and coffee is always good and prices are decent for the city. the staff is lovely! i highly recommend the coffee subscription if you live or work near a Pret- it pays for itself if you get 3 or more coffees a week.Dietary restrictions: gluten free and vegan/vegetarian options, no charge for plant based milks

The name of this place annoys me but when I read people died from allergic reactions due to their mislabeling food why is this place still in business? Shouldn't they get life in prison?
