Best coffee in the city by far. I used to have to bribe myself with Pret before going to the library to work on my dissertation! Really fresh salads and sandwiches to choose from with great variety. Something for everyone. The staff is always friendly and willing to give you a little extra touch.Vegetarian options: Always vegetarian options. I think some are even marked vegan.
Good place to buy a lunch to take with you, as many office workers do. The salads are good, the sandwiches OK. Convenient.

Service is fine, but no longer the value proposition it once was. Would regularly go every other day due to combination of cost, quality, etc. But in past year or two cost has gone up almost 25%, now putting it within reach of much better spots that offer significantly bigger portions and more of a homemade quality. Difficult to see me going to any pret with any sort of frequency anymore. Still, reasonably good quality if not sure where else to go.

Generally, not as classy or refined as it was a few years ago. A few employees need retraining on how to treat customers and comport themselves. One guy in particular, screaming and acting out like in the ghetto. Unpleasant! Sign of the times. Food still good.

Purchased an egg sandwich and cheese and tomato sandwich along with a chocolate chip cookie. The butter in the cookie was rancid. Confirmed by one other besides myself. The cheese seemed like a sliced of processed cheese without any distinction. All this for just under USD 22.
