Customer service was horrendous. I went to the back to check out the bathroom situation and the employee at the front said “this part is closed”, then I asked the other employee on shift if he knew where the nearest bathroom was and he said “no”. I ended up waiting in line at Bryant Park for 45 minutes. I would never eat here don’t waste your time.

In all the craziness that Bryant Park can bring specially during the christmas time going into this Prêt was super refreshing! Food was great and Claudio and Gariel have such a great energy. 10/10 thank you guys!

Great meal selection and honestly quite healthy. However, I cannot ignore how rude and unprofessional some of the staff can be. This place is really a hit or miss depending on who you encounter.

It was during the lunch rush with three different lines waiting to check out. I wasn’t sure which line to join, so I simply asked the gentleman managing the area if I could join the third line closest to the window. Instead of helping, he yelled at me and spoke in a rude manner. I was embarrassed, but I didn’t react and just quietly joined the longest line. A short time later, the same gentleman (African American, short hair, wearing a hair net) came back and tried to speak with me using a casual “yeah man” tone, still with no apology or explanation. At that point, I honestly didn’t even feel like being there anymore, so I checked out quietly and left.

This is actually my second negative experience at this location. The first involved an unfriendly cashier, which led me to stop visiting for a while and take my business to Paris Baguette down the street. They’re far busier yet consistently provide an excellent and welcoming atmosphere.

The sad part is I work in a hotel next door and still can’t bring myself to recommend this place to guests. Proper staff training and guidance on professional communication would really go a long way in improving the experience here.

This place / the people saved my day! My family went ice skating and I hung out waiting for them, having a breakfast sandwich. I must have lost my credit card in the restroom somewhere and noticed this an hour later. We were visiting from Germany and I was kinda bummed, since I thought it got stolen in the subway. Walked back to the store - et voilà! The friendly staff handed me my card! Thx so much folks!!!

I’ve been to this Pret several times, and the manager often treats Latino customers with less respect than others. As a customer, I’ve noticed this more than once, and it creates a really uncomfortable atmosphere. I hope Pret looks into this because everyone deserves to be treated equally and kindly, no matter who they are.

Claudio is an exceptional person — kind, attentive, and truly passionate about his work. Every time he prepares coffee, you can feel his care and precision. He listens to guests, understands what they want, and makes everyone feel special.

He’s not just doing his job — he creates an experience. His calm energy, warm smile, and professionalism make the entire atmosphere brighter. People like him turn an ordinary coffee stop into something memorable.

Had such a lovely experience at Pret today! Claudio, the manager, was super friendly and welcoming. He helped me pick out a drink and suggested the Matcha Strawberry, it was amazing! Really appreciated his kindness and great energy. Thanks, Claudio, for making my visit extra nice! 💚🍓🥰
