Excellent, friendly baristas who are patient at peak hours and willing to take order 15 min before close — that is really sth.

Terrible customer service, would not recommend coming here as the other locations are filled with better employees who actually enjoy their job. No thanks!

A chicken and avocado wrap Tasted good and its volume was enough for me. The price was average in New York.

Quality is good but it is probably the slowest Pret in NYC. Every other location has online option available in next 10 minutes, they very often have one in 15-20. Also no chance that it will come more than 2 minutes before the order time (what is possible in other locations I’ve visited when I ordered and it was ready in 5 minutes). Today there was no linę but still the same so wouldnt say it’s because of traffic.

Sporadic service depending on location and employee turnover. I don’t feel the food is freshly made at the store as I have been in two of the kitchens. It’s best for tea and coffee.

This location has gone way down hill recently.
My suggestion is to avoid. They can’t manage to fulfill online pickup orders timely. When questioned they respond that “it’s a system issue”, as if that’s a clients issue. There’s plenty of other good options near Grand Central.

I spent $62 dollars getting quick lunch for two. The person making drinks gave me the wrong size then took a rude tone when I questioned if that was right. “You paid for a medium, buy another drink if you want—“. So either the cashier or the barista made a mistake and the response was to rudely tell a customer to buy another drink, after spending $60? Do yourself a favor and skip this location.

We should be able to get two bread rolls if we buy the big soup

Horrible watered down iced coffee and deceiving marketing. They advertise $2 croissants to get you in but when you get to the counter they charge you $5 and tell you that it’s $2 when you buy something.

It appears that staff generally don’t really care about your custom

It's tiny and it's bafflingly closed most of the time when it would be useful to me, but this has become a pre-theater quick bite staple for me. It's cheaper than many of the cafes closer to the theaters and faster than basically anything (because it's ready to eat, you see). Wish there were more seats and wish the hours weren't terrible, but it's great within its limitations.
