On March 19, 2024, I had a chicken sandwich and an Americano—both delicious. I managed to snag a seat with a view of Central Park, and at some point I caught myself smiling, thinking how something so ordinary for some people felt like a once-in-a-lifetime moment for me. Growing up watching Friends, it was surreal just being in the city. Surreal too, of course, to hand over $20 for a sandwich and coffee.

Dismal. Bad coffee, surly service and expensive. I’d always thought Pret was a reliable place which offered reasonable value and good food til I visited this branch. I won’t be back to Pret in a hurry.

Overall, it’s same with the other pret, but it’s quite crowded during weekend since the location is tourist area.

Very limited seating. Pet friendly. Cup of fruit was not as ripe as I thought it would have been. Not much in terms of gluten friendly food. Felt more like a grab and go kinda place

I'm a pret club member and ordered a drink online and I asked the gentleman working upfront for the bathroom code and he was incredibly rude, ignoring my question and telling to check my receipt. Having ordered online the was no bathroom code on my online receipt. He seems to be very stressed with this job but being kind shouldn't cost him anything. Quite truly feel sorry for him and not being able to manage his emotions to work in a customer facing role. I wouldn't have minded if he asked if I made a purchase but he simply assumed I didn't and I had to ask multiple times before he acknowledged my question.

The staff that worked here on a busy Saturday night, were absolutely incredible. They handled a very difficult situation with grace, patience and still managed to take a breath and have a smile on their faces and continued to take the very long line. Despite the machine acting up, they managed to accomodate our order to make sure it was done right and even predicted that my friend would like cinnamon on her chai. Thank you both! Keep on smiling.

Shelves are empty and need restocking.
