Save your time and money to go someplace else. Came here for a quick drink during Happy Hour as we stayed at the Frederic’s hotel - service was extremely rude. $6 « custom » fees were added to our bill. When asked we were told it was mandatory service fees which were not mentioned anywhere. If you do the maths, that’s 30% on the bill. Tipping is not an issue but charging extra fees without informing customers and being rude isn’t ok.

Terrible customer service experience!

Went with a friend and order the Primos martini. I asked if it could be gin instead of the standard vodka and was told “sure! What gin?” I said “whichever is your house standard”. I was told Beefeater. Fine. Bill came - it was $40 for that martini (vs an already steep $25 on menu). I was told that was because I ordered Beefeater. No disclosure, and the concept that Beefeater is a $40 martini (much though I like it well enough) is laughable. It was a fine martini, but the value, inattentive and lacking service combined with a deceptive upcharge make it a hard pass!

I made a reservation for drinks on Christmas Day on Resy (with no-show fee and all) only to come and find out that the bar was closed. This is the second time I try to visit - prior was on a regular non-holiday and the bar was closed even though on Google Maps it appeared as open.

Primo's has a very cool aesthetic. Attractive art deco styling. Their music was spot on (80's new wavish when we were there). We sat at the bar and ordered a couple beers. Oscar behind the bar was great. He knows how to manage things. He was keeping all his customers happy.
