This restaurant has plenty of beautiful ambience but thats about it. The food was terrible. Could not understand a thing on the menu. It all sounded very chic and gourmet but was in fact awful. My husband had to send his appetizer back, it was so bad. My salad sounded really good but was bland and had no taste at all. My friend picked at her appetizer and did not finish it. Our main courses were not much better. Every meal had something wrong with it in terms of taste and appeal. Only one out of five of us enjoyed our meal. The waiter was very nice but he forgot my drink order and a few other items at our table. Overall it was a disappointing experience and not worth the money at all.
We had a great experience at Print Restaurant. The food was excellent and the ambiance was perfect! Lighting was serene, drinks were great, service was expedient but as relaxed as the ambiance. We will go there more often! Our Book Club was happy to reminisce about our 30 year trajectory last night. We are happy we chose the Print Restaurant to celebrate our group.
Sad this really nice place is closing in a couple weeks. Went several times, food was always delicious and interesting. Had the best cheese plate of anywhere with real honeycomb!

Out of all of the dining experiences that I had while I was in New York City, this was the most disappointing. It was on Christmas Day, and the food was just really kind of mundane. Overpriced tiny portions, and it just didn’t do it for us. To top that off, our waiter seemed to be ignoring us and we had to wave over the busboy at least twice. I would not come back here.

The staff Eric was friendly and nice with good smile. Thank you.I ordered “Parker House Rolls”, “Fennel Grapefruit Salad” and “Duck Breast”.Parker House Rolls: It could be tomorrow’s breakfast for you. Butter with olive oil was nice combination.Fennel Grapefruit Salad: Nuts was good accent and grapefruit was not too sour but mild good.Duck Breast: it was just two slices of duck, but it was worthy to try them and gooseberry source was nice to taste. Also, the atmosphere was very good, sort of romantic. See you soon.

I had provided a list of food allergies when I booked the reservation. They were incredibly thorough and had a marked up menu for me ready upon my arrival. They brought it up before I even did. Not only did they accommodate that I cannot eat gluten, corn products, eggs, chicken, apples, and pears (confirmed, I did not feel sick in the slightest) — the food was incredible. The tilefish was fresh and flavorful. Spicy and warm but still bright. The lamb was tender and juicy and melted in your mouth. The harissa and mint on the lamb was unique without being unapproachable, and fit well with the cold weather. Great wine selection - the rosé champagne in particular was a deep transparent red and tasted like effervescent lilies. The server was friendly and personable and checked in the exact right amount. Ambience was very prohibition film noir feeling, but the background music was randomly house/dance/techno - that was fine, but maybe a little out of place. It wasn't super busy, especially for a Friday night at 5 pm - 7:30 pm. It was raining/snowing and 30° though, so maybe that's why. Definitely highly recommend this spot overall and hope to return!
The carrot bisque in the photo is out of this world. The dessert was a delectable chocolate souffle with pumpkin seed ice cream.

Food is exceptional and worth the trip alone. Excellent wine menu and craft cocktails. Go up to the roof deck after dinner for amazing 360 views. Perfect for date night or special occasion.
Excellent experience... great service, healthy options , great craft cocktail menu. Decor was spot on and the lighting / music was perfect in volume/theme and level of light. ????
This is one of favorite restaurants in all of New York City. I heard rumors that they might close - this would be a HUGE loss. Food, service, menu, flexibility, decor, attention to detail, ambience is truly top shelf without taking your whole wallet. I certainly hope and pray the rumors are not true.
