Food delicious, atmosphere good but service attitude was definitely not something that make you comfortable.

Went for a large party. Food came out slow, then the music came on and they cleared our plates with no time to eat. The food was average, but a good place to fit a large party for a birthday and affordable
Great food. Great value. Great service.

Every NYC trip we come to PUGLIA! We first heard about it back when we watched Theresa Caputo all the time, she RAVED about it. SO SO GOOD!

Probably one of the best times I have had in recent memory. The food was fantastic, the Atmosphere lively and fun, the service EXCELLENT. We will be returning again real soon. EVERYONE in our group of 7 had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the meal. Comes with the highest of recommendations if you like a loud, lively, fun crowd this is the ONLY place in NY to get it authentically.

What a fantastic establishment! I was in for a retirement party recently and was beyond impressed with the service and how well everything was organized.
We try to eat here every time we come into town. This place is absolutely amazing. The service is top notch and food quality is impeccable. Gluten free options that stretch a mile. This place is a must.!

In NYC 45 years ago and went with my cousin and her friends. The experience was wonderful.
A few year ago, I was NYC staying at a nice boutique hotel nearby and thought it would fun to have a nice dinner at the place I remembered. They had no availability and was told to get a reservation a few months in advance.
Earlier this year, I was going to be in NYC with my nieces, so I repeatedly called to get a reservation. The first time I got through, the person taking reservations was not available, but they took my number and would call back. Never happened. So, about a month before our trip, I finally got through again. It took repeated unanswered call. I guess they do not need to respond or care.
Made the reservation and showed up on time. The place has two rooms. They stuck us clear in the back of the second room. Waited over half an hour for anyone offered us anything. Food came luke warm and carelessly prepared, like from a buffet line.
Entertainment began in the other main room. Then when they did their thing in the back room, it was shorter and obviously done with less enthusiasm.
This place has run it's course. It was a BIG expense and a BIGGER disappointment.
I recommend you spend your time, and money elsewhere.
You will never see me there again.

Food was good, service was good as well. Everyone was nice.
The music was wayyyy too loud. I was sat directly next to the speaker and in about 20 minutes or so of them playing, it gave me permanent hearing damage in my right ear. Asked them to turn it down initially but no dice. Eventually before they started back up I got them to turn it down. Please do not have the music that loud, everyone can hear it and you’re giving people long lasting damage to their ear drums.

I think this place works best if you're a large group of young Italians. Speaking not as one, the food is just ok and the music/ambience inside is loud and jarring. It's hard to get a word across leave alone a conversation. It's also pretty hard to get in at all as they do not respond to reservation requests on social media and do not take walk-ins during peak hours on any day.

Super yummy. Small restaurant, but they handled our large group easily. Live entertainment.

I do not recommend Puglia.
The food was nowhere near authentic Italian cuisine…it was more like cafeteria fare. Service was terrible: the waitstaff didn’t bother clearing the table between courses, leaving everything cluttered. The atmosphere was chaotic and uncomfortable. There was an older woman in a loud, ridiculous outfit singing horribly…honestly, it sounded like nails on a chalkboard. The music was so loud I had to leave before finishing my meal.
On top of all that, the place is nothing more than an overpriced tourist trap. They cram so many tables into the space that getting to the restroom is a challenge. Definitely not worth the money or the time.
