I recently met a friend for lunch at Punch Bar and Grill. It was conveniently located between our offices. We both got burgers and they were excellent. The fries were good too. Prices are extremely fair for NYC and the service was excellent. It's standard bar food menu and the place is pretty nice, nothing fancy, but nice. I would recommend for a nice quiet lunch if you are in the area.
Punch bar and grill has the most appropriate name in the industry. The speed of service, flavor amongst the cuisine, and personal connection each staff member strives for is a punch in the face - in the best way possible. In a concrete jungle and with a myriad of soulless, dime a dozen pubs, punch is a brewed awakening.
Sensitive to allergies. The sweet potatoe fries were really tasty. We had the Mediterranean plate: hummus, cucumber yogurt ( this was the highlight) lentil chips, plain lentils, feta, cucumbers and couscous. We eat clean in general as my bf has allergies so the plain lentils were perfect. The hummus was also simple.
