The quality of the products has reduced. They no longer make the food the same as when the business opened. The cost of the product does not matter as long as it is good and tastes good. The d 187 St. Nicholas in Manhattan. The lady who serves is highly lacking in customer service.

Very bad, I bought a chicken cachapa yesterday and the lady gave me a mixed one and the meat was damaged. My stomach hurts a lot if I continue like this I'll have to go to the hospital that's not done I don't know if I'm pregnant oh what. Very bad …..

I traveled from the Bronx to Manhattan foe nothing. The sweet plantain Yaroa was not well done and it had a bug and the cheese sticks were hard and refried. Worst place to eat ??

I believe there are new owners here, super sad about that. I wouldn't waste time traveling here if I were you.The service is really bad. The woman took a while to take my order because she was on a personal phone call, and then another while to place my order. She was nice tbh, but very unprofessional, I ended up just leaving. I get better service at the deli tbh.The only reason I gave it 2 stars is bc idk if previous employees are still there, and their cachapas used to be really good

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was so excited to try this place but was totally disappointed. I ordered the cachapa and arepa, both with "shredded beef" and both were absolutely disgusting. It was not shredded beef at all, it was some gross chewy mystery meat beef patty. The corn dough was stale and old tasting. The inside was smothered in a mush of pink sauce and cheese. Also, why would they put lettuce in an arepa/cachapa?? Just overall gross. I had to throw the whole thing away. Please avoid!!

I am a loyal fan of ensalada de pulpo and ensalada de camarones. I got the ensalada de pulpo today. Extremely disappointed. It's supposed to have the light, refreshing kick to it. This was dark and spicy. Not happy...especially when I paid $15 for it. Plus my limes were tossed into the plastic bag without being wrapped in any type of wrapping or paper. Won't order again. If I could put a pic I would!!!!
The food is good but they didn't updated the menu so it was not properly updated so all the prices were wrong

This place deserves ZERO STARS, the worst cachapa I have tried in my entire life. No corn dough which is the main ingredient for cachapa. Just a tiny little layer and tons of old ham, cheese and salad, basically you pay for a ham and cheese salad??????.

Definitely this is not Venezuelan food.

ZERO STARS!!! The worst cachapa l’ve bought, l had one bite and had to throw out the rest... it looked bad and tasted so bad like if it had ingredients that had been seating there for days, it was also cold, like not even the meat inside was hot. Just a horrible experience! They didn’t even bother to give me utensils/napkins and the drink l ordered was hot. Never coming back to this place.
