SENSATIONAL LUNCH ! On Sunday my wife and I took the subway Downtown to do a spot of shopping at Vuori Clothing in Spring St, Manhattan. After getting off the train we walked past this cool looking cafe which I had to check out. IT LOOKED DARN GOOD INSIDE ! After our shopping trip I suggested to my wife we should grab some lunch here. VERY BUSY ! Not a vacant table inside but my wife managed to nab a table on the sidewalk. FIRST UP ! A friendly cashier named Waheed ( the manager in fact ) took our lunch order...2 x Cappuccinos with half & half milk + hazelnut syrup, 2 x Khaliat Alnahl ( a Yemeni dessert ), 1 x Caramel Chocolate IBB & 1 x Chocolate Pistachio Tart. I paid upfront and Waleed handed me a ready buzzer. In the meantime I joined my wife outside at our table on the sidewalk. I went back inside to use the gender neutral restroom ( very clean ). Before we knew it the ready buzzer went berserk so I headed inside to the espresso counter to pick up our lunch order which was very neatly placed on a tray. GEE IT ALL LOOKED GOOD ! I walked towards the front entrance and Kaleed kindly held the door open for me. WHOO HOO ! Our cappuccinos tasted fabulous....expertly made by Ibrahim esa the talented barista. OMG ! The Khaliat Alnahl tasted extraordinary...I drizzled the side of honey on mine. A sweet savory dessert unlike any other. DESSERT ! My Chocolate Pistachio Tart tasted wickedly delicious and my wife loved her dark chocolate coated dessert ( chocolate sponge cake, chocolate mousse & caramel butter cream ). WHAT A TOP SPOT !

Qahwah house has a great tea and sweets. It is often crowded and busy but a good atmosphere. The decorations and ambience are very nice.

I had two coffees here, actually: an espresso and one of the specialty coffees with spices and additional flavoring. They were really good. I spent more than an hour in the coffee shop, and a lot of people were going to this place. It looks like they have good pastries too, but I didn't try them this time.

The chai was the best I've had in the US and the honeycomb pastry was the perfect balance of sweet with savory! So good! You won't be disappointed!

Not that great because they take all the prices off their menu at this location
JUST AMAZING. The chae was really great and tasted amazing. I had a great chae after so long. And yeah its a crowded place so make sure you are happily willing to stand in the line for your order. But once thats done then the place is quit calm. Mostly people were just working on their laptops. So if you are looking for a great chae place to finish your pending work then this is the best one.
