Tuesday dinner 6:30. Food was plentiful and very tasty. We had the hanger steak which was delirious and very tender. Broccoli rob tasted grilled and was also very nice except the woody stems should have been removed. Wines were also very nice with a good selection from which to choose. The only reasons we will not be back are these: The restaurant seems to cater to large business dinners more than to small groups or couples dining. The noise level was almost unbearable to the pint where we needed to shout across the table to have any conversation. Service was wanting and no better than a neighborhood pub. Our waiter was professional but had too many tables, seemed always rushed and could not devote much time to us. Thankfully the waiters helper was of more help to us than the waiter.
What a wonderful way to celebrate my sons 21st birthday! The food was SPECTACULAR. We had a variety of dishes and the lobster pasta was especially delicious. Very memorable meal for my family!
The food was amazing! We were seated immediately. Drinks, appetizers, and our meals came out in great time, but we never felt rushed. The staff was very attentive and our server was always there when we needed her. We were in New York for the first time for only one day and we wanted a New York Italian dinner. We picked the right place!
Our server was distracted and had trouble with his hearing. We ordered two courses and it all came out at once. The rooms were extra loud and crowded and we felt rushed. This was not a typical experience at Quality Italian. Very disappointing. The pizza came out cold, “hot” honey wasn't hot and the wine sommelier was not available when we requested his recommendation several times.
I have food allergies and JC was incredibly accommodating; working with the chef to ensure there was no cross contamination. We got creative with the menu and I had a fantastic lunch. Having been at QI many times, I would say the food is consistently great and the service was fast for a business lunch. The only reason I could not give it a 5 star is because the music was very loud and distracting for business lunch.
We were a party of seven, and every single one of us left the restaurant thoroughly impressed. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of delightful. Our server recommended the hanger steak, and we're so glad we took the suggestion. It was absolutely phenomenal. We found ourselves comparing it to a porterhouse from Peter Luger, and that's saying a lot. The Caesar salad was crisp, perfectly dressed, and delicious, while both the paccheri and the fusilli special were cooked to a flawless al dente and bursting with flavor. Their signature dish, the chicken parm pizza was very good, though it was somewhat overshadowed by the other standout dishes. Even the crème brûlée corn, which I was initially unsure about, ended up being a surprise hit with everyone at the table. And the meal ended on a high note with the sticky toffee pudding, which was simply stunning and left a lasting impression. The ambiance struck the perfect balance: stylish without being stuffy, warm and welcoming. We were attending an event at Carnegie Hall and were thrilled to have found a restaurant that could satisfy such a variety of palates while maintaining impeccable service and top-tier quality. We'll absolutely be back.
Excellent. The Dover sole was very well done and everyone enjoyed the chicken Parm pizza. Only complaint is the air conditioning was inadequate for a warm but not particularly hot day. Definitely recommend.
Great pastas and salmon.
BTW, the restroom is special, like one in a villa
Absolutely amazing dining experience.... The food was stellar
Filet mignon was delightful as well as Asparagus and tiramisu. The corn Gnudi on the other hand was not something I would ever get again. Service was prompt and helpful.

We had a spectacular meal at Quality Italian (including complimentary charcuterie)! Our waiter Simon K. was fabulous and very accommodating of a dairy allergy. We will be back next time we are in NYC!
Wanted to try the Chicken Parm Pizza that I saw mentioned on Trip Advisor, only to find out that it only is shaped like a pizza and served on a 15 inch pizza pan, but it is pounded chicken with pizza sauce and cheese on it. The price tag for two people $86! Way too much food for two people and really too expensive. The gelato desserts were outstanding.
We had a lovely experience at Quality Italian. Unfortunately I cannot remember my waiter's name but he was amazing. Very attentive and gave us great suggestions based on our taste. The food was SOOOO GOOD. The chicken parm pizza with the hot honey! 10/10. Drinks were great too. I'd definitely book again.
Always great to visit one of the Wuality restaurants when in NYC , the Italian never fails to disappoint
Service was outstanding as always. Even though we only had to wait a short amount of time after our reservation, the host and service time went out of their way to make sure we felt special and we had a memorable experience.
