I had a wonderful experience. The waiter was busy & the host came to make sure we were good. The waiter suggested the meat balls very spectacular. The drinks were strong. Brussels sprouts, & spicy lobster pasta exceptionally great taste.

We feeling the chill and needed to warm up and grab some food. Stumbled across this place after our little trip into central park. Not the easiest to navigate, so had to ask. Self service then pay then eat. I went for a decaf cappuccino wow, sooo good. With a freshly made, baked Parma pizza omg so good. Well worth giving this place a go.

While the food itself was excellent, the service and overall handling of a serious safety issue were unacceptable.
I’ve worked in both the food industry and hospitality, so I’m never quick to judge or overly harsh. Unfortunately, my experience here was truly disappointing.
The food was great. We ordered the chicken parmesan, two pastas and the corn crème brûlée. Everything was outstanding. That is the only reason this restaurant received one star.
The remaining four stars are lost due to a dangerous and poorly handled situation. As my husband and I were finishing dinner, I reached for my coat and purse and immediately had to throw my purse down because the chain was extremely hot. I was confused at first, then realized the wrapped pole next to my seat was dangerously hot. The heat transferred to the chain of my purse, then to the leather itself, causing visible cracks and indentations. For context, this is a Chanel purse.
Because the dining area was very dark, I initially couldn’t fully see the damage. My husband and I went downstairs near the entrance where there was better lighting, and that’s when the damage became clear. I then asked the front staff member, Durin, if I could speak with the manager.
Durin appeared speechless and unsure how to react. The first thing he said was that the manager was busy and asked me to leave my phone number so I could be called back. He did not ask if I was okay, did not assess the situation and did not ask where the hot pole was. I was shocked.
I asked him how he knew the manager was unavailable and requested again that he check. He left for about two minutes and returned to say the manager, R.C., was busy and could not speak with me. If a paying customer requests to speak with a manager over property damage and a safety concern, I don’t understand why that wouldn’t be addressed immediately. I was willing to wait. It was barely 7 PM.
Durin handed me the general manager’s business card and told me to email R.C. He assured me multiple times that they would resolve the issue and that they would take responsibility, emphasizing that they are a restaurant group with over ten locations in NYC and that they would not ignore me. Frankly, that response came across as dismissive and stuck-up. I don’t care how many restaurants you own if you can’t offer a simple apology, ask if a guest is okay or have a manager speak directly to a customer about a dangerous condition in your dining room.
He also assured me the restaurant would cover the damages. It has now been over two days, and I have received no response by email or phone.
I am extremely concerned that guests are being seated next to a pole that becomes hot enough to damage personal belongings. This is unsafe and should never happen in a restaurant.
Excellent food cannot make up for unsafe conditions and a complete lack of accountability.
I've included the photos of food and hot pole here.

Hostess was extremely rude to my family who was visiting from out of state. When asked for her name, she wouldn't give it. Two of us have worked in the restaurant industry in New York, and would never treat customers in this manner. Disappointed because I had an awesome experience previously coming here with the waiter Edmar, who was an amazing server. Hope the restaurant looks carefully at who they hire as hostesses, and to encourage standard customer service practices. To be honest, will probably not come back or recommend this restaurant because of this poor experience.

Always the best! Can't not get the chicken parm pizza but there's so many delicious items to choose from. Service is impeccable. All the servers work together to ensure you don't need anything.
AMAZING FOOD!!!! Solid service but unfortunately we were sat by some VERY loud tourists from only god knows where. Hopefully they are back there and never returning lol. Thanks for a great bday dinner! Cocktails were phenomenal and French onion on point! Steak au over delish! Thanks again!
Great experience, great server, great food! Beautiful atmosphere and accommodated my requests to perfection. Definitely recommend!
I had my birthday dinner at Quality Italian It did not disappoint The spicy lobster rigatoni was amazing, served with a flaming at the table presentation. The gem caesar and the corn creme brulee were very tasty and the desserts were superb. Worth the trip

I’ve been to Quality Italian several times when we have come to the city and always have enjoyed it. They make a nice martini. The menu however, is somewhat limited and the wine list is also limited for some of the wines that we really enjoy. Somewhat noisy and I’m not a big fan of the 2 x 2 tables that are so close to each other, you feel like you’re dining with your neighbor but overall it’s a nice place to go for good food in spite of my desire to have more options on the menu.

Really loud because it was so packed. The food was ok. There were no really good options on the menu if you didn't eat beef or pork. The wine was amazing and the dessert was huge. The lighting was so very dark it was so hard to see your way especially in the bathroom or on the narrow stairs and the

I had the most incredible dinner with my girlfriends on Friday at Quality Italian! Because we had 7 people we made a reservation a few weeks in advance, and I’m glad we did because it was PACKED. We sat upstairs in their gorgeous dining room and everything we ate was absolutely amazing. My favorite dishes of the night were the chicken parm pizza, the pesto pasta and the sticky toffee! They also had an incredible espresso martini that I highly recommend!
