The bar great. The food !! Ask for the potatoes with garlic and oregano wow!! The waiters always with a smile! Great!
Restaurant was crowded and noisy. Seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. Waiter was efficient and professional. Nothing more. The low point was the food. Steaks were undercooked and tasteless. Brussels sprouts were an overcooked, mushy mess. Twice baked potato was cold. Desserts were interesting and tasty. Another popular restaurant that survives on its vibe not its food.
Filet mignon was cooked perfectly for medium heat. Yellowfin tuna tartare appetizer was spicy and paired nicely with the bread. Mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious. Sticky toffee pudding was the highlight of our dining experience. It's one of the best desserts I've had. Highly recommend saving room for it!
We ordered the porterhouse medium, but it came out heavily charred and burnt, with a bitterness that completely overpowered the steak. For a restaurant like Quality Meats, where expectations are high, this was a major disappointment and really took away from what we hoped would be a great steak dinner. That said, the service was excellent. Our waitress handled the situation graciously and went above and beyond by bringing additional desserts on the house, which we appreciated. The miss was in the kitchen execution, not the service.
The steak was decent and cooked well, but overall the experience fell short of expectations. The restaurant is extremely cramped, which made it feel rushed and uncomfortable. Despite having a reservation, we were still made to wait, which was frustrating given the tight seating. Our waiter also came across as fairly dismissive, which didn't help the experience. For the price point and reputation, I expected much better service and a more comfortable atmosphere.
Thank you for all the staff who made my night amazing! It is really a place where you get the best food and the best experience!
This was the best restaurant I have been to in a long time. The creativity with combining different flavors in dishes like the bacon, peanut butter, apples and jalapeños was a culinary flavor explosion. Their wine selection was very good with fair prices. If you are in New York make sure you give this place a try.
Waitress had horrible service. She was rude. She over looked us at first and we waited over 20 minutes to order drinks. She snatched menus and forcefully slammed the credit card machine on the table. Good was great and the restaurant was very nice . The rest of the staff were great!
Fantastic experience. Delicious food. Our server Jeff was top-notch. Look forward to coming back.
Not the best steak in the city but the drinks sides and apps make up for it. We showed up w one additional guest than the reservation and they handled it ...Grumpily, but still handled so, hey, I'll take it. We were celebrating a birthday and they gave us a card, which was a little silly and pointless. How about a candle in the dessert guys?

The steaks were some of the best we have ever had. The seasoning is so good! Caesar salad is a must. Service was very good and very attentive.
We enjoyed--the food was delicious, and the service was really beyond compare. I sense the by the glass wine list can be improved upon a bit--high priced but not truly excellent glasses are not a way to woo consumers to seek out and appreciate wine! There are so many reasonably priced and excellent wines being made right now, at all tiers of production.
Great food. Horrific reservation experience every time. Table never ready at the time of your booking. Hosts are sometimes polite and apologetic, also can be rude. Nowhere to stand/sit waiting, bar area is always packed so end up at the entrance waiting. Min 30 mins past reso time, last time I walked out and went elsewhere.
We were 10 people to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately the prior folks at our table lingered for almost an hour past our reservation time. Our group was impressed, though, by the manager's sincere and personal apology, and they generously also comped wonderful appetizers AND desserts that appeared magically without our even ordering. A great save by attentive service— we had a marvelous time and will be back.
The food and service were truly exceptional. The older server who helped us made thoughtful recommendations — neither too much nor too little — and made us feel very comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious. The only downside, as with many steakhouses, was that it was extremely loud and hurt our ears.
