This was the best restaurant I have been to in a long time. The creativity with combining different flavors in dishes like the bacon, peanut butter, apples and jalapeños was a culinary flavor explosion. Their wine selection was very good with fair prices. If you are in New York make sure you give this place a try.

Waitress had horrible service. She was rude. She over looked us at first and we waited over 20 minutes to order drinks. She snatched menus and forcefully slammed the credit card machine on the table. Good was great and the restaurant was very nice . The rest of the staff were great!

Fantastic experience. Delicious food. Our server Jeff was top-notch. Look forward to coming back.

Not the best steak in the city but the drinks sides and apps make up for it. We showed up w one additional guest than the reservation and they handled it ...Grumpily, but still handled so, hey, I'll take it. We were celebrating a birthday and they gave us a card, which was a little silly and pointless. How about a candle in the dessert guys?

The steaks were some of the best we have ever had. The seasoning is so good! Caesar salad is a must. Service was very good and very attentive.

We enjoyed--the food was delicious, and the service was really beyond compare. I sense the by the glass wine list can be improved upon a bit--high priced but not truly excellent glasses are not a way to woo consumers to seek out and appreciate wine! There are so many reasonably priced and excellent wines being made right now, at all tiers of production.

We were 10 people to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately the prior folks at our table lingered for almost an hour past our reservation time. Our group was impressed, though, by the manager's sincere and personal apology, and they generously also comped wonderful appetizers AND desserts that appeared magically without our even ordering. A great save by attentive service— we had a marvelous time and will be back.

The food and service were truly exceptional. The older server who helped us made thoughtful recommendations — neither too much nor too little — and made us feel very comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious. The only downside, as with many steakhouses, was that it was extremely loud and hurt our ears.

Great steakhouse from the family of Quality Italian & Bistro, Quality Meats is a solid option. Went there around 8:30p, and dined at the bar. Bartender was helpful and guided me through my selection of wine and main course.

With so many steakhouses in NYC, it’s tough to choose just one for dinner—but I’m glad we went with a friend’s recommendation and tried Quality Meats! This spot feels like a modern gem.

The service was more casual and in line with a regular restaurant than a traditional upscale steakhouse, but the food absolutely delivered. We started with their unique bacon appetizer topped with peanut butter and jalapeños—unexpected, but surprisingly delicious.

For dinner, we had the porterhouse, gnocchi, and waffle fries. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the wine pairing tied it all together beautifully.

Overall, Quality Meats lived up to its name. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and very affordable for the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Loved everything about this restaurant. For a steakhouse I think it is very casual, not at all stuffy. Caviar sliders were very good and being able to order by the piece allows you to try it and still have room for everything else. Tartare was very good. Mixed table side is a nice presentation but the tables are very small so it is a little cramped. Steak cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Its a very little thing but for me little things natter, there is a pepper mill and small bowl of salt on every table. That isn’t common lately and I think it’s a great touch especially at a steak house. The green goddess salad was okay. Nothing special. Wine selection is vast with many price points. The sommelier was very helpful. Overall a great dining experience and will definitely return.

🥩✨ Quality Meats lives up to its name—and then some. I quite literally rolled out of here in pure, steak-induced happiness.

The space has that classic New York charm: cozy, dim, candlelit basement vibes with a bar upfront and two large dining areas that feel both intimate and lively. I went with wine (because… steak, obviously), while my friend started with a margarita that sadly tasted like a flat Sprite—she joined me on team wine soon after.

They kick things off with warm bread rolls and a Caesar salad that perfectly sets the tone. For the main event, we split the prime porterhouse, carved by the “meat master,” and it was perfection—juicy, rich, and more than enough for three of us with sides.

Speaking of sides… do not skip the corn crème brûlée. Sounds weird, tastes magical—you’ll wish you ordered two. Other standouts: Parmesan waffle fries, spicy Brussels sprouts, whipped potatoes, broccoli and cheese bites, and the Yorkshire creamed spinach.

Dessert? Couldn’t do it. Not because I didn’t want to—just because my jeans said absolutely not.

If you want a true New York steakhouse experience with sexy ambiance, solid service, and food that hits every craving, Quality Meats is the move.
