Somehow, I hadn’t been back to Quantum Leap since before they moved out of their original location in the village in the mid 2010s! Still has a similar vibe. Yes, they market as a vegetarian restaurant and confusingly do serve some chicken and fish, but 85-90% of the menu is vegan. I think the vegan dishes are totally great, home cooked style food with fresh veggies and ingredients. Yes, many Impossible and Beyond meat options, but the simpler yet hearty types of vegetable-centric and healthier-forward menu items are harder to come by at even many vegan restaurants in the city now. The staff is pleasant, friendly, and anticipated our needs. Nice place to enjoy a peaceful lunch or meet up with veggie and/or omni friends. Updated from previous review on 2026-03-13
My husband and I had the best experience here this evening! The food was so fresh and delicious! We each had Impossible burgers and they even have vegan cheese as well as vegan multi grain buns. The peanut butter chocolate milk shake and chocolate cake with vanilla cream (all vegan) we're the perfect desserts to complete our meal. Not too sweet either. I'm so glad we discovered this restaurant, thanks to the NYC Vegan sub Reddit for the recommendation. We look forward to many more visits to this amazing restaurant!!

My first experience at this vegan restaurant was excellent. They offer a wide variety of menu options across different cuisines, all of which are impressive. The food is very good, and we especially loved the blueberry peach pie—it’s low in carbs and not overly sweet. Highly recommended.

First time eating here and absolutely loved it! Everything about it - adorable spot, amazing staff and history - best unchicken wings we’ve had! Will be back🤤 Updated from previous review on 2026-02-10
We had the dumplings, bao buns and hot dogs and it was soooooo good! I highly recommend this place. I came with a 6 year old that is usually a little picky and this time she didn’t leave a single crumb 🙌🏼😋👍🏻👅🌭🥟🍽️

This place might turn me vegan. Healthy but impossibly hearty flavors. Reasonable prices and empathetic service.
Quinoa burger - the patty was made out of quinoa (didn’t care for the black beans) with fresh veggies, melted cheese and amazing sauce. Very filling but felt very healthy.
Chicken burger - the patty did taste like chicken, but a cleaner more flavorful version.
Not too crowded during a weekday lunch though there is a steady stream of customers. Lunch set is good value and comes with a drink. Exterior façade is very simple. However, the interior is wooden and cozy with not too many tables, and the space is very clean and well-maintained.

Everything was fantastic, I can’t wait to return. Have now visited for both dinner and brunch.
Got the bbq chicken bao and it was delicious! The lady working was very friendly and genuine! It’s not often you experience that kind of warm interaction in the city, so that was really nice and appreciated:) Highly recommend this restaurant to vegetarians in the area

Fantastic food and equally as good service!
An absolute vegan treasure ♥️
I loved this place and kept coming back until the end of my trip.
I wish my city had as many vegetarian options as this place does (eight pages of menu items, plus a lunch menu, a brunch menu, and a menu of beverages and desserts).
The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is great.
The food was unbelievably tasty.
Even my non-vegetarian friend was astonished by how good the food was.
I hope to come back soon. Kisses from Brazil!

I've been here twice, once with a friend, and another with my partner. Food was so flavorful and well-prepared! I always rave about their vegan cheesecake because it is truly delicious. The staff is also very sweet and attentive. I hope this business continues to prosper.
