My first Ethiopian cuisine experience. The food was delicious. The seats/tables were too close together but the space is small. It took a while to get our food but no complaints. I gave the atmosphere a 2 as no one was checking to clean the bathrooms. Tissue was piling up so high in the garbage cans. The samousas are a MUST.

I ate at Queen of Sheba, an Ethiopian restaurant, and really enjoyed it. The place felt warm and welcoming. They have a lot of traditional Ethiopian food to choose from. I tried a mix of different dishes with something called injera, a kind of bread that you use to pick up the food. The food had a lot of flavors, spicy but not too much. The people working there were very nice and helped us choose what to eat. They seemed happy to share their food and culture with us.The meal wasn't too expensive, and I got to try lots of things. Portion sizes were good enough to make us pack leftovers.

Food was decent but some dishes were rather bland. We got the meat and veg sample platters and it was plenty of food for three people. It's rather dark inside the restaurant. I think I'll try out the other Ethiopian options in the city before I venture back here though.

I normally wouldn’t call any food disgusting but this is one of the worst food I had and I’m Ethiopian. Service also sucks. I would never come back!

Went there for dinner with a friend. A nice little space. Seems like it was family ran business. The lady seemed nice. She kept checking up on us. And also replaced our glasses when we said the water seemed unclean. Not a lot of options for food and they were out of a few dishes as well. Ordered the egg entree. I absolutely loved the bread that came with the food. The chicken was a little smelly but the gravy was amazing with the bread. Would recommend if you wanna try out Ethiopian food.

This place is terrible, DO NOT go there! The food is flavorful, but the two other people in my party that eat Ethiopian food more frequently said it was just "okay" as in mediocre and certainly not worth the terrible service. I never met our waitress because we didn't have one. Everytime I needed something I had to get up and walk over to the bar to ask for it. Then I would not receive what I asked for in a timely fashion or it was just wrong. I ordered a hot pocket samosa type thing called "Sambousa" and I wanted the meat version, but they brought the Lentil version. The outside was burnt. I also wanted a cappuccio which they did not bring. They took forever to grab the bill. They also included an 18 percent tip without saying anything which is generous considering I would have left a 15 percent tip. They called it "service charges" like we are using uber eats out here. In fact I thought to even leave less because again as far as I am concerned we didn't have a waitress. I was technically the one running around to place the orders. So we ended up giving 36% to a ghost. I think the whole thing is a scam and doesn't incentivise them to give good service so they don't. There were also a ton of fruit flies inside and if I am not mistaken their health grade is "pending". There are a lot of other Ethiopian restaurants to try in the city and I suggest you do because this place should not be in business. The taste of the food is one thing, but amoral practices are another. This place is not the "Queen of Sheba", it's the Pauper of Sheba and it made a fool out of me and my closest friends. Disgusting...

Had been craving Ethiopian food and this place hit the spot! It's a small, cozy restaurant great for a relaxing meal and good conversation. I got tibs wot which was absolutely delicious and came out with veggies for more well rounded flavors. My friend got the vegetarian sampler and enjoyed it as well. We were filling up quickly on the injera and had to ask for forks halfway through the meal so we could finish the food and ease up on the edible spoons/forks. We also ordered honey wine which was tasted exactly like it sounds.

It's really a shame Meske closed as that was always the better of the 2 adjacent Ethiopian restaurants within walking distance of us. We tried QOS again today just to give them another chance and again they kind of disappointed. The injera was thin, dry, and lacking in the sour flavor it's supposed to have. We got the beef samboosas to start and they were very good. Unfortunately they couldn't make the crispy injera appetizer for some reason. We got the veg sampler and the shiro wat and cabbage were actually excellent, but the other dishes were somewhat lacking in flavor. Strangely, they do not put injera below the dishes to soak up the juices, which is one of the highlights of this cuisine IMHO. The staff also seemed overwhelmed on a busy night and service was slow. We will definitely venture further from home next time we have an Ethiopian craving.
