Wonderful queer space, they have a trans centered event every Tuesday that is the best night of my week!

Cute queer spot in the East Village to come in and stop for a drink or two. Friendly staff, cheap $6 well drinks, and good music. Great pregame spot before going to spend $20 a cocktail in LES. Bartenders Andrew and David know how to turn the party.

I did a show on Eastv4th and used QUEEN VIC as our after-party go to for drinks and laughs!

Love the queen bar the bartender in heels is great but the older Irish guy that came in that screamed at every one was a dick so I,honestly don't know if I'd recommend

Nice place, but the older English bartender named Alec was causing a scene - screaming at staff members and customers, belligerently drunk - not sure what the issue was but it was unpleasant for us.

The music is *chefs kiss* and the drinks are pretty strong. 2 cranberry and vodkas in? I'm notoriously a lightweight so it was making me feel very nice. I loved my bartender whom was in full drag and was such a delightful conversation. I would love to come here on a weekend night instead of a weekday afternoon JUST so I can see how fun it can get because I feel it won't disappoint. Best part? Far from expensive.

Initially, I was pleasantly surprised to find a low-key gay bar next to the famous 99¢ Fresh Pizza. I quickly soured to Queen after Her Majesty's bartender demanded a tip for my second well drink. I intended to tip after finishing my drinking session, but that wasn't quick enough for Queen's catty bartender. He then proceeded to condescend me after I apologized. I would look for another place to hang.

Wonderful Intermittent Bar, place to visit! With a jukebox, and cheep drinks

Great little dive bar and Leo, the bartender, was great.

I was eagerly anticipating hanging out in this place but the sound just got louder and louder as we sat there. Don't get me wrong I'm not some 90 years old gay guy who hates music, it's just that there's an acceptable loudness where customers can enjoy music and conversation especially during happy hour at 5pm. My entire conversation was overpowered by stupidly loud background music. Listen to me; tone it down!

Quite possibly the worst bar I have ever visited. I will preface this review by stating that I always tip when tab is closed as I do it based on the level of service I receive. I went with 3 of my friends for an oscars viewing party and your bartender with the boytie not only tried to refuse one of them a water, he also asked for his tip prior to getting his and my drink. Then, when my friend won a free shot from the trivia contest, the same bartender said "you get this" and proceeded to flip us off. I recommend you avoid this establishment at all costs.

3.5 in reality. We spent one of the last pre-lockdown evenings here. I couldn't have spent it anywhere else. The streets were empty, it was bitterly cold, and everyone was scared shitless. Queen Vic was one of the few places that actually felt normal. Of course, we had no idea how serious Covid was at that time. We just knew something big and scary was coming and we wanted to drink. The manager was there and was super cheerful. They put our music and served drinks super quickly. It's like drinking in your young uncle's basement. Good vibes all around.

Worst bar i've ever been to and that's 100% on the bartender that night.

It's a dive bar. And luckily, it has all of the best parts of a typical NYC dive bar.
