Literally amazing. They were so nice and have incredible service. They even brought me a compatible charger for my phone for free when I asked. Karaoke was 10/10 the song selection was large and the mics looks good. Rooms are clean and they have 2 TVs even in small rooms which is nice.

Private party at radio Star was SO MUCH FUN. We were in the Beatles themed room which itself earned 5/5 stars for the decor. You can request songs ahead of time if they aren't on the list, and the system was easy to use. Definitely will be going back. Be warned though, the kitchen doesn't open until after 6 so if you get there at 5, don't arrive starving as I did!

We visited this karaoke bar recently and overall the vibe was nice: the place was lively, everyone seemed to be having fun, and the crowd was super friendly. It definitely had the potential for a great night out.
However, we ran into a pretty frustrating issue. We submitted three songs, but none of them ended up playing. After waiting through about 20 songs (many of which were sung by the same few people, who were clearly friends with the bartenders) we asked what was going on. Only then were we told that sometimes the system “skips” songs on its own, and that it was basically on us to notice and follow up.
Eventually, we asked for all three of our songs to be played back-to-back, just so we could finally sing before leaving. It was disappointing, especially since we were genuinely excited and patient for most of the night. The energy of the place was great, but the way the queue was handled took away from the experience.

Unfortunately I was having a hard time to have a good time when the staff thought it was funny to refuse to take our order over and over again while EVERYBODY was waiting before we could resume the party. There’s gotta be a higher standard when it comes to restaurant/entertainment business in NYC, right?
