Low stakes, thoughtfully executed Mediterranean concept.
We went for brunch, the crowd was a mix of UES families and girl friend dates.
The service and portions both left a little more to be desired.
That said, the flavors are very natural, with simple and clean ingredients.

Went with a friend for brunch last weekend. We both got the Jerusalem plate, except I subbed in hummus for the avo. The service was fantastic and I think I would have been happy ordering anything on the menu. Looking forward to heading back for another meal.

I love this place! I’d been to the UWS location once and just can’t get enough now. One of my fav spots.

The food was okay, the waitress was great. Was not made aware there was a two hour seating limit and my friends and I were asked to leave after two hours because there was another reservation waiting. When we approached the host with our concerns and not being notified ahead of time of the limit her response was, “Two and a half hours is more than enough”. My friends and I had been there for two hours and spent over $350. We were appalled by her response. She was rude and dismissive. We will not be going back.

10 out of 10!!! Miriam is the kind of place that instantly feels welcoming the second you walk in—warm, lively, and effortlessly cozy. The food hits that perfect sweet spot of elevated but comforting: bright Mediterranean flavors, fresh ingredients, and dishes that are meant to be shared. We started with a spread of mezze and warm pita, and everything was so well-seasoned and beautifully plated. The cocktails were just as impressive—creative, balanced, and honestly worth coming for on their own. Service was friendly and on point without being pushy, and by the time we left, it genuinely felt like one of those neighborhood spots you want to keep coming back to.

If I could give negative stars I would. I explained my allergies in full detail multiple times. The waitress and manager both assured me (3x) that my plates were allergy free. Then, after taking back the food that contained the allergy, they brought a “allergy free” dish that the manager personally ordered which also contained my allergies. The manager continued to say this does not contain your allergy, I had to pick up my fork and show the physical chickpea for him to realize. They have no idea what is in their food.

I have no idea how food is because we ordered two hours ago and still haven’t received our order. Phone is busy and online help lied and said order on its way …. That was 40 minutes ago.

We had a reservation for brunch and were seated very quickly. Service was prompt and we were able to place our order quickly.
We ordered the Miriam breakfast and the Latke Benny. The Latke Benny was interesting, since it swapped the English muffin for the Latke. The other breakfast dish seemed like it was lacking in something because all it had was 2 eggs, some salad, some potatoes and a bit of labneh. It really needed some pita or some bread to mop up that dip. Ideally, even the Latke dish should’ve come with some bread.
We ended our meal by ordering the French toast. It was decent, but once again, I don’t know if it was a portion that would serve as a brunch meal that takes care of all food for the day.
Overall, the food is decent, but I don’t think I’d particularly look to go back.
