Really good experience, not too crowded on a Friday night at 7:30 but the people were great and so was the food!

One of my favorites in the neighborhood, if not my favorite! The food and cocktails and to die for. Victor is an angel and the ravioli is to die for!!!

This place is impeccable.
Nicely greeted, great service, great energy, not too loud, and of course the food, spectacular.

Incredible neighborhood restaurant, we had the pleasure of dining at the Chef's Counter on Friday night at 8pm. The restaurant was full of other happy and delighted neighbors and staff. The food was delicious, we tried two of the specials (burrata starter and cod entree), we also had the branzino, a pasta, dessert, and more. Can't wait to come back, they treat you like family!

Food is great, staff is friendly but the service was very very very slow. Took
Forever to get our drink order, food came out slowly. We were seated at 845 and our main course came out at 10. Some dishes that came out were not very hot either. Additionally , we were seated by the window—it was freezing. Uncomfortable experience but the food is undoubtedly good.

Took an hour for drinks and appetizers, then took another thirty minutes for entrees, no communication from the server about why it was taking so long which is weird since the restaurant was dead.

Rafele is absolutely superb!
Right down the street from overhyped italian restaurants with lines out the door, this place was fairly quiet on a Sunday evening.
The atmosphere was warm and homey, their service was excellent and the food was really remarkable. The Meatballs (Polpette) were delicious and the sauce was perfect. The pasta was made so well and the sauces were so flavorful and tasty.
And best of all, their tiramisu was some of the best i’ve had in NYC!

Great service and relatively cheap food for lunch for the area. It seemed very homely and the waiters were super attentive. At night they seem to serve larger portions. Everything we ordered was excellent and left no room for dessert. The tremendous chicken parmiggiana👏
My coat needed a new mackage Mr Rafael fixed it for me my coat is now all new.

Loved everything. $140 for two people. Would love to come back! The Ragu tagliatelle was perfectly al dente and delicious. We loved their take on a prosciutto arugula pizza as well. We ate the tiramisu so quickly it just disappeared.
