Places like Rafetto’s is why I absolutely love coming to west village/soho for groceries. They have a wide selection of fresh pasta (egg and dry) as well as cheeses and some meats. The staff is very lovely and energetic and the overall vibes are

I used to shop here all the time when I lived in Little Italy for 24 years and would walk a little extra distance to get my fresh pasta and supplies from Raffetto's instead of the shops actually in Little Italy. - I was walking past there today and decided to pop in and buy some lasagna sheets and some other items, but the old feeling of a shop where people helped you and were friendly was completely lost. Instead I was met by a worker that I said hello to and they looked up at me with the most unfriendly expression imaginable and then just looked back down and continued to do what they were doing completely ignoring me.There was another worker there that clearly knew I was there as well and ignored that I was there too. I don't mind waiting to be helped at all...a 'will be with you in a few' or something would have been sufficient, but wow...I just got the nastiest vibe. A vibe like they were pissed off I came in. What happened to you guys? I used to LOVE going to Raffetto's. I spent so much money there when I lived there. I'm hoping that they were just having a bad day and aren't that way to customers all the time now. But I had to say something here because Raffetto's has always been a special place to me. It bothered me so much.

Long time staple of Italian delicacies in Greenwich Village. Good selections of pasta fresh and frozen. Olive oils, salt, cheese and some pork sausage. Compact store. Check hours of operation before you go, but worth a trip to Houston street.

i’ve only had their lemon pepper (i think it was called that) fettucine but gosh darn it was it not the best pasta i’ve ever made. i’m approximately 1/8th italian but that pasta filled the missing 7/8

Great spot for Italian goods and food. I picked up some lunch and supplies to carbo load for the NYC Marathon. They didn't have the chestnut bread pudding but i guess it's seasonal. I will be on the lookout for that. Outstanding customer service and family oriented establishment. Definitely a throw back and why they are still operational.

Love their pasta. One of the few places in NYC where you can get your pasta cut to order. And the spinach and rice casserole is amazing.

If you're looking for fresh homemade deliciousness, this is the place for you! They have a variety of fresh, frozen, and dried pastas and even though the store seems tiny, there are treasures galore every where you look! I came in planning only to buy pasta and ended up heading to the cashier with tons of goodies. They accept both card and cash and their hot sausages are definitely spicy! If you're looking to make your upcoming pasta meal easy, this is also the place for you! They have all of the ingredients to ensure that your Pasta Night is a success including ricotta and bolognese sauce and it's way better than anything you can find in the grocery store and tastes like perfect bolognese sauce!

Unless you're making it yourself (with plenty of experience) - nothing is better!

Wonderful location with not only homemade pasta but also prepared dishes such as meatballs, lasagna, desserts, sauces, sausages, etc. They also carry Italian food products. They accept credit cards and the prices are reasonable for the quality. This is probably as close to homemade as you'll get without making it yourself!
