Had a nice business event there. Good view.
Still a must on any visitor's list. The views alone are worthy, but when you include great food and service, the night is complete magic.
There is no place like it!
Very neat venue with great views
Upscale NYC restaurant that offers some of the best views of Manhattan.
The resturant itself is on the top of Rockefeller center and every seat in the house offers breathtaking NYC views.
Been here a few times and the food, service, and drinks are always top notch.
They have a nice wine selection and some great specials.

The resturant is super expensive but you paying for the atmosphere.
Make sure to make a reservation.
Meh. Just because you have money doesn’t mean shit. Get better food from street vendors
Was there for my wedding reception.
It was fabulous!
I was there in the 90s and watched fred eric Norris fight with his wife . Jacky and sirrianni were dancing at the time . Fred was gone when they got back to the table. Food was awesome great servers . The fight was great also. Parody.
The Dining Club at the Rainbow Room is a private club with great service and exceptional views of the city. This place offers breakfast, brunch and lunch. A perfect place for business and semi-formal social events. Food wise, it has some descent and refreshing appetizers and entrees. Although the menu could benefit from some periodic and seasonal updates. Some of the menu items, such as miso cod for example, has remained on the menu since the inception of this place. Overall, it's a great experience eating here. The service is always professional and courteous.
Amazing venue!

I worked at The Rainbow Room back in 1988. Back then it was owned by David Rockefeller. He poured millions into revitalizing the complex. It was absolutely the most glamorous space in NYC. When you got off the elevator the first thing you was was The Empire State Building and the Twin Towers beyond. It was breathtaking. There were Pages to greet you. There was a 30 piece band and a singer in the dining room to sing the classics like Cole Porter, Gershwin, and Glenn Miller. The dance floor rotated. There were cigarette girls with pillbox hats, tight jackets with peplums and skirts with crinoline. The main bar spanned nearly one side of the floor. There was a piano lounge with a singer. David Rockefeller spared no expense. There was original artwork from Norman Bell Gedes, photos from Steichen, historic photos of 30 Rock back when the building was being built, and of architectural details of the building. In one of the private dinning rooms there was an entire wall of original Bakelite radios from the 1930's. I don't know when it closed, but the Cipriani Group are the new owners, and they have not done justice to the history and physical space. It is now a sad shell with a drab institutional look. So sad.
It is not often that you can visit an iconic venue like the Rainbow Room for a good cause. The service begins as you take the escalator to the elevator. Staff are allows available making your travels smooth and effortless. My compliments to all the servers. The cocktail hour and dinner for my event was excellent. I always enjoy the views of NYC from as high as the 65th floor.
