As expected from a place known for udon, the udon was really delicious. It was a bit noisy, but the service was decent. However, not every dish was great. The wagyu tataki was good, and the spiced cucumber was fresh. Unfortunately, the salmon pressed sushi was the worst dish — there was too much rice, the rice was mushy, and the salmon tasted fishy and low quality. The tempura was disappointing.
Best udon i.ve ever had.
Trolly better that one I had in Osaka.
Broth was bit salty, but the noodle was out of this world.
All we ordered was fantastic.
2 side dish, 2 don't, came out $110 included tip. NYC price, 🤮
I almost forgot about writing this review. Raku on MacDougal street surprised us with their excellent food and friendly service. We were there during the holidays, and it was definitely worth the wait. The waitress who served us was attentive and professional, and their udon noodles!! I would say the rumors are true. They are good! We also ordered chawanmushi, which we were told would take a little longer, and it was very very warm and tasty!! I really wanted to order some sake,...
