Food was really good! I cant remember exactly the name of the udon I got but it had snow crab in it. It was a little salty until I fully mixed everything together so definitely mix mix lol and then for dessert we also had the soba pudding which was great - not too sweet and I liked the crunch on top! They did keep asking our table if we were done and we felt a little rushed to finish toward the end and they took a while at the beginning to come get our orders but generally food...
Phenomenal udon. Definitely a top restaurant for 2025! Coming back here. I got the hot crab udon and vegetable tempura. They got us seated within 20 minutes which was pretty quick considered they were fully booked and it was a walk-in.
My second time at @rakunyc and I enjoyed my cold zaru udon a lot more than the hot udon I’ve had last time! Got an add-on veggie tempura but sadly they were not hot anymore when they came to me.
Had a bite of the buta shabu and I liked the grilled flavors of the sliced pork a lot!
