Got the Nabeyaki udon and it was insanely tasty! So many little treats in one soup, and they bring it to you boiling, which is my favorite part --- it stays warm for so long! Also shrimps on the side, so you get the best of all worlds. We also got pork buns to start and the pork just melted in my mouth. SO delicious. Cannot recommend more, already making plans to return

The biggest advantage is that the food is cheap. Although it didn't taste like Japanese food at all, I ate hearty and nutritious food. It would be nice to go if you're around here, but there's no need to come from far.

I’ve gone here for years, service wasn’t great they’d rush me to go usually but the food used to be amazing. Sushi is still amazing but ramen was awful, the bowl was overcooked and the pork was nasty. They got it to us really quickly which I don’t know if that has anything to do with the quality of food but super disappointing.

We loved this place for several reasons: fast, attentive service; good quality of food (sushi and tempura); and the prices were reasonable (for NYC!) Would love to eat here again.

Very tasty service also fast and kind
Good food and service especially for a lunch special on a weekday. At 12 noon it was quiet and almost empty for the first few minutes and then people started shuffling in. I wish they had more visitors because the food is pretty good and the portions are decent.

The restaurant is a little dark. The food with a very good flavor. At lunch time, order Bento and beer. It is a very good option.

Been twice. Passable sushi and ramen. Dated decor. Denied service the second time due to having children in our party (refused to put us on wait list). Not a family friendly business. I get it, but it’s the UWS. Come on.

Came here for a light meal before visiting the museum. The staff was friendly and helpful, recommending some of the best sellers. Had the millionaire signature roll, nabeyaki udon and a bottle of beer. The signature roll was lightly sweet, cruchy and delicious. The udon was warm and hearty. Great meal!
